As a firefighter, I bought these in place of coveralls for technical rescue as they offered better comfort and it is easier to wear a rope harness over. They hold up to substantial abuse no problem with fantastic comfort. Would definitely buy again.

My zipper keeps going down. I like the lose for but when I'm working outside I'm always checking to make sure my zipper didn't fall down. It keeps falling down, even when I'm mowing the lawn.. what is up with that?

To short in the hip , to much stretch wish they where like the old duck pants. Love the phone pocket and the color

Good quality and great look

Pretty happy with these pants after many modifications. To get the wider legs (not tapered) you have to get pants that are huge in the butt and crotch (loose fit). Not my personal preference?. or maybe body shape. I like the top part of the "relaxed fit" however, the legs are tapered. Website sizing description doesn't really make that clear (I don't like the tapered legs). Rivets are superfluous. Is it ok for one side of the pocket to come apart and not the other? On the double layered front: why would the inner thigh need more support from a rivet than the outer. I personally am more naturally protective of the inner. I removed those rivets, it's not a pocket, there is little reason for the material to separate. Plus, just one more thing to potentially scratch or dent wood I'm working on. By the way, if you're considering the rigby pants, don't! After I returned a very poorly constructed pair, Carhartt was nice enough to send me another poorly constructed pair for me to return. (Customer service people were very polite and accommodating)

Have worn these since early 1970's on heavy construction jobs. The canvas duck is slow to break in (good thing), but these dungarees outlast anything out there. Am retired now on a small farm, and still prefer these when working or relaxing.
