Disappointed
Didn’t care for them - will be returning them. The fit for me is awful. The inseam feels longer then 31”. The legs are SUPER baggy and the suspenders clips are much more bulky then other carhart styles- the Velcro on the bottom need to go away- they get in the way

Highly recommend getting a set of the bibs and jacket if you are a tournament fisherman. I’ve put them through the test against high winds, cold temps, and heavy rain. Kept me comfortable on the water. Well worth the money!

Completely Amazed by the workmanship and quality
I bought a storm Defender angler set bibs and jacket because I use a high-powered pressure washer up on people's roofs in severe weather sometimes it's snowing raining hailing very windy in the winter. I have had multiple different types of heavy duty rain gear but none like this set. It is comfortable and warm I have freedom of movement and plenty of pockets for all my miscellaneous tools that I need to use. I recommend this set to anyone who needs a high quality top tier set of rain gear.

very satisfied for comfort! a point to improve the two-way zipper because I am very disappointed with the running when I have my coat and I'm going to pee ... I must remove everything and not just lift the zipper

My husband loves them . Exactly what we were looking for ...... Now , I have a request, I am a female , 5 ft 3. Wear a size 10 . We did by the small mans bibs , for me , but way, way to big , I fish as much as he does and I know a lot of females who do also, I need the same bibs for myself .... can you make them for me? I cannot find any that are not insulated, just need rain and wind suit like Storm for men , only one for woman.

My husband works in a lumber yard. How well does the material on the Storm Defender hold up as far as tearing goes??
Cathy W on Dec 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would say well. Very well made and flexible. I get a lot of people Bragg on mine when I wear it. The best I have seen and he would be very happy with the quality. I am.
Is there a jacket that matches the pants?
Skip T on Nov 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes; style 102990 matches.
How thick is this product, does it tear Eazy under high abuse?
A shopper on Oct 30, 2018

I am 6'6" and pretty skinny- the size recommendation was a large, will they be long enough? or should I upgrade to an XL?
Austin on Oct 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The inseam is about 31," regardless of the waist size.
Would i have to treat these after some time?? And also, how do they stand up to a heavy rain for long I

Would I have to treat these after some time or after washing? And how do they stand up to heavy down pours for long periods of time? Iv all ready paid this kind of money for 2 rain suits that don't work!
A shopper on Aug 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Ive had my storm defender suit for several months now and have zero issue with leaks or even getting damp. I’ve sat down in the water puddles formed during heavy rains on will driving my bass boat and still did not get wet. As far as washing goes I have not sent mine through the washer or anything like that. After use in the rain I let them air dry and haven’t had any issue with wet smells. Also have not had to add anything to keep them waterproof such as camp dry.
Hope this helps!
I'm 6'3" how am I supposed to know if they will be long enough?
A shopper on Jun 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The inseam is 31."
It says in description it has a large tall so why don't it have the option in sizes?
A shopper on May 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We apologize for the confusion, this style is not offered in tall sizes. We are working on updating our website.
Do you have to take them off to relieve yourself or is there a zipper to avoid that?
Kevin on May 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yep. There is a two way sturdy zipper in both the jacket and the bib. Worked great for me at Table Rock and at KY Lake during rainy tournaments. No struggle at all. I looked at every different brand and I am really happy with my carhartt’s. Even the hood on the dang jacket is adjustable if you wanna wear it over a hat. Good luck.
Do these tend to run big or small?
A shopper on Apr 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They run true to size. If you want to compare them to bass pro shops 1 and 200 MPH suit, they run a little bigger (1/4 to 1/2 size). I'm not sure what the person above is comparing them to, but I'm surprised by them feeling it runs small.
I tried a large pair of these on, and really like them. However, too long for me.. Will there be a short size in the future, like there is for shoreline bibs?
Peter B on Apr 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Not in the near future, but we'll be happy to share your input with Product Design.
I really like these but worry about them getting staind by fish mess will these be made in black this year?
A shopper on Apr 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We do not show plans to offer this style in black this year. We are happy to share this with our Product Design team as a suggestion.
