Great if you're right handed
Overall, they're great! The only thing I don't like is as a left handed person I don't see myself using the side pockets on the right side as much as I would with other leggings that offer side pockets on both sides.

Road Warrior Ninja ? Check
These are no ordinary leggings. At first I was hesitant to order because of the cost, thinking they were just any old legging I would wear under my pants but boy was I wrong... Not quite a jegging either, but these are a durable warm stretchy stylish legging (with pockets!). Well played, Carhartt

I live in these pants
I live in these pants. I wear them while running errands, hanging around the house, working on our homestead. I started with two pair, added a third, and am now waiting (im)patiently for them to come back in stock so I can buy more. I’ve recommended them to anyone who will listen. I’d love to see more colors!

Best Workpants I have ever owned
These are high quality, tough and worth the money. I have owned three pair of these for four years now. I basically wear them every single day for six months out of the year. They are warm, yet not too warm. They look great, and are easy to work in. In four years of heavy lifting, yard work, and hauling wood, I have only snagged one pair in one tiny area. The side pocket holds a large format phone, and it is tight enough to flex, yet the phone has NEVER come out of the pocket. Can't say enough about this brand and these pants. Non-staining fabric, dries fast. A no brainer to buy the new colors this year!

Worth the higher cost for fantastic quality
Normally I wouldn't pay so much for a pair of leggings, but these are worth every penny. I wouldn't recommend them for wearing in warmer climates, however they are perfect for Alaska! They even kept my legs warm during my son's hockey game with weather-dependent ice at 10 degrees F...though my bum did get a bit chilly on the aluminum bench! I am a size 12, have a child-bearing belly, 5'6" at 150 lbs., and the medium fits me great. I have tubular calves, so they are snug there, but overall they have a slimming effect. Normally I feel sort of "naked" wearing leggings unless my bottom is completely covered, but these look enough like normal pants to give me more confidence with a shorter top. I don't think they could possibly snag, the material is so sturdy. Overall the best pair of leggings in my wardrobe. I expect them to last a good, long while.

I absolutely love these
I wear a 24w in jeans and am right between the 2x and 3x. The 2x are snug when I put them on but stretch nicely after a bit. The 3x are a bit big but still work, I just have to pull them up more often. I have fibromyalgia so jeans aren't always my friend. I can wear these while looking cute, having pockets, and being comfortable all at the same time. I really want the black heather to be available in plus size though. I love the two toned look. The ink green is very nice, a very dark teal that still goes well with everything. I have 3 pair of these and I basically live in them for the most part.

Not leggings
The material on these pants are soo scratchy! It may be durable, but not comfortable. Also, i feel these run very large. I am about an 18W and i got the 2X because we all know Carhartt runs small, but these came in and were huge! The tag says 2x is 20W-22W and i would say its more like a 22W with stretch, not a whole lot but a good amount. Now if you dont have a flat stomach the pockets are going to look funny, these are made for flatter stomach people for sure. I'm happy Carhartt's sizing is more accruate, but i wish they had advertised that they have been working on it.

Decent, but I'd definitely rather have coveralls.
The material of these feels great, and they have pretty good mobility and lots of pockets. The pockets don't have much give though, especially when moving while having items in them.
I am 5'8, 150#, 27" waist, 39" hip, fairly muscular build, and I ordered size medium. They fit well measurement wise, but the cut causes them to pull and pucker oddly in the hip/crotch area. I am not sure what that is about. I like these but I'm not sure I like them enough to order multiple pair, especially for the price. I find my good ol coveralls to be superior to these by far for utility, comfort, durability, and price.

Back seam developed a long run (holes) after 1-2 wearings
I ordered two pair of leggings in late July due to the thicker, protective fabric. The leggings were not a skin tight fit, so very little constant stress on any seam. Wore the first pair 1-2 times and a 5” run on the vertical back seam left a series of small holes along its length. I called customer service, shipped the pants back and received a refund. I left the second pair in the original packaging until just the other day and hoped the issue with the first pair was a fluke. I wore the second pair this weekend for about 4 hours to help cut down and remove small trees. I checked the seam afterwards and sure enough, holes/run on the back seam were there just like the first pair. I am so disappointed in this terrible flaw as the leggings feel great to work in.

what is the inseam for xs-tall legging?
MaryAnn R on Oct 25, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Tall will be 31".
I’m smack in the middle of a weight loss journey and I’m having trouble judging on whether something will fit me now. I have a couple size 16 jeans that sort of fit, but are a little baggy because they are “stretch”. I have big thighs and calves, which is where I’m having an issue with most pants. They’ll be loose in the waist and hips, but tight from the thigh down. The sizing guide for these suggests I get an XL, are there any other ladies in my predicament that can give insight?
Ozzette on Oct 17, 2020
BEST ANSWER: They are very tight on my stomach (I have more of a beer belly) and cause me a roll, BUT I am also somewhere in the 16 pants size and the XL fits relatively well on my thick hips and thighs, to the extent that I believe if I lose about 15 more pounds they might be too big! Go XL
Will Carhartt be bringing "short" sizing to this line for petite ladies? I love these but they're waaayy too long for my 5'3 frame. I would buy them all.

any chance a zipper pocket could be added?

Do you carry the 3X in Tall ?
Barb E on Sep 20, 2020
BEST ANSWER: We will not manufacture this size.
Will you please make these in short or ankle? Even your short is often too long.

BEST ANSWER: We are happy to forward your feedback over to our Product Team.
Do the new colours (green, coffee) fit like the black or the grey and blue? I have all 3 of the old, but my grey and blue pairs fit way tighter and have less stretch.
moolly on Sep 2, 2020
BEST ANSWER: They should all fit the same, if they have the same style number.
How do these pants work for a second trimester pregnancy and farm work that involves machinery, squatting, kneeling, and lifting? Do they stay up? Do they expand with an expanding stomach and still stay up? Not sure what to wear that is durable and isn't multiple sizes too big to accommodate pregnancy.
A shopper on Aug 23, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The waist is not very stretchy to me, but it is pretty high. They always stay up on me! It may work for you. I’d just be concerned about how non-stretchy they are on that baby bump. Good luck! And congratulations!!!
ca

Are these tight on the legs? I have large calves and a small waist. Size tool recommends small, but will these fit a 15 inch calf? Can size S wearers offer insight?
A shopper on Aug 22, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I have 13" calves and they were snug ... my problem is that I'm taller than the Tall inseam so the calf of the pant was riding higher otherwise I think they would have been better (a bit less snug on my calves). If you are short it might work for 15" calves if you want them tight, if you're a bit taller I don't think it will work as they don't stretch much in calf.
Are these high rise? If not, will you be making a high rise waist?
Asher on Aug 17, 2020
BEST ANSWER: These will not be high waisted. We appreciate your feedback and will forward your suggestion to our Product Design Team for future consideration.
Is Ink green color a blue green? Black green? Indigo?
Kimberly T on Aug 9, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I feel it's more like a really dark teal. It's a very nice color for when you don't want black yet you still want something that matches almost anything.
Do these have any metal on them? (Hidden zippers, rivets, etc.?)
Jennie O on Jul 31, 2020
BEST ANSWER: No metal! they're exactly like leggings, just thicker waist band
Do these leggings “bag out”? Or do they stay true to the original fit?
A shopper on Jun 11, 2020
BEST ANSWER: They stay true. Very tight around the waist and hoping for fit to relax just a little. Otherwise very happy with fit, look and function. Slim fit is accurate, not as stretchy (around waist as you would think due to the durable nature of the material.
Will you make this in solid navy or shadow, or even carhartt brown? I would buy those in a heartbeat!
A shopper on Jun 6, 2020
BEST ANSWER: We appreciate your feedback and will forward your suggestion to our Product Design Team for future consideration.
Do these hit under the ankle? Or above?
A shopper on May 30, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I am only 5 feet tall so a little long on me. But I think would still hit about ankle length. I love these so much I wear them even though they fit long on me.
Have these been improved yet? I want to purchase but I'm seeing a lot of recent reviews about seam failure. Thanks!
A shopper on Mar 20, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi! Not sure when those who experienced seam failure purchased their leggings! However, I have bought 4 pairs of them....and have washed all of them, many, many times!! I’ve never had a seam failure! I like these pants more than any pants I have ever owned! I have also worn them to the grocery stores....and to weddings! They are the most versatile pants I’ve ever owned!
Are they insulated?
A shopper on Mar 14, 2020
BEST ANSWER: This style will not be insulated.
What is the inseam on the tall leggings?
