Good Fit
The pants do not have as much stretch as I usually get in other brands, but the fit is on point.

Best fitting Carhartt jeans I’ve ever worn!
FINALLY A PAIR OF CARHARTT JEANS THAT ARE NOT BAGGY. EVERY OTHER PAIR OF CARHARTT JEANS I’VE EVER PUT ON FELT LIKE MC HAMMER PANTS. THESE JEANS DEFINITELY FIT LIKE THEY’RE FROM THIS DECADE!

Carhartt For Hipsters...
Longtime Carhartt customer. I work and play in Carhartt clothing. Unfortunately, these jeans are my first negative experience with the brand.

Anyone who actually works or does strenuous activities will NOT enjoy doing so in these "skinny jeans". I am very slim myself at 6'2" 165 pounds (size 31x34) and these jeans are just WAY too tight to move or bend comfortably (even with "Rugged Flex"), not to mention they basically look like skin-tight jean leggings. The leg opening tapers so narrowly that I doubt anyone can even fit it over boots. It's weird to see the Carhartt patch on such an impractical pair of pants!

I guess I should not be so surprised as Carhartt becomes trendier to wear for the brand name "fashion" and not the function of the clothing. Carhartt seems to be catering to this demographic to some extent as their newer "Relaxed Fit" Carhartt pants are much tighter than the older styles in Relaxed Fit, and one by one they are steadily discontinuing the Loose/Dungaree Fit pants altogether. I also noticed how every new style of jeans "sits below the waist". This low-rise style is so uncomfortable, especially for taller people like myself.

I will continue to buy the remaining styles that are comfortable and functional for as long as you continue producing them.

Nice classic jean with modern fit and material
Really like them ! Fit was as promised, color is great, and they seem durable as hell. Goodwill just got a nice pile of Levi's from me.

Finally, jeans that truly fit
Best jeans I own, which include various other Carhartt styles. I bought a pair months ago, and after a while concluded they are right for me. Just bought three more pairs…hope I have enough now. I am on the slim side (5’10”, 155 pounds), and virtually all jeans that fit my waist are way too big in the seat, thighs, and lower leg. Not these. They look and feel great.

Definitely worth a try!
These are great jeans! If I had to offer one minus...I would ask for a bit more room in the thigh. High quality. Great stitching. Great price. After saying that I ordered the relaxed fit and I wish for more room in the thigh though my wife loves them.

Send me a replacement pair so i can give you guys more stars!
Hey, I love Carhartt gear. I work on trucks producing film and tv shows, so Im always up on the gate. My biggest isue is that I bought these jeans in January and they already split. I gave you guys a 3 because I have so much Carhartt that has lasted me forever but this pair of jeans busted at the seams!

will these fit over boots?
Samuel on Jul 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I have never tried, but I doubt it. They are fairly tight around the shin/calf
Do these jeans have the crouch gusset?
A shopper on Apr 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This style does not have a gusseted crotch.
What’s the inseam? I have thick thighs so I’m a 32 in the waist and I’m short so I wear a 29 or 30 in the legs but is inseam the same thing as leg? Please Help!
A shopper on Mar 16, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The inseam is the measurement from the crotch to the end of the pant leg.
What is the leg opening on 30 x 30 and 30 x 32?
A shopper on Sep 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The leg opening in this style with a 30" waist is about 15" (regardless of inseam length).
What is the leg opening size on these?
Scott on Aug 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The leg opening will vary depending on waist size. Please contact our Customer Service Department for further assistance.
Today I tried on a pair of Carhartt B18 straight/traditional fit tapered leg jeans in a 36x30 and they were way too snug. I tried on a 38x30 in the same style and the waist was better, a little too big, and the inseam/legs were too long. Puzzling. The “True Size” finder says I’m a 36x30 in all Carhartt brand pants but apparently that’s not true. Does anyone know how the fit of the Carhartt 102807 rugged flex straight fit tapered leg jeans compare to the fit of the Carhartt B18 that have no flex/no spandex?
A shopper on May 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The front rise is a bit shorter and the waist is cut a little larger in style 102807. In other words, the waist in the B18 sits up a little higher and measures a little narrower.

The thigh and knee area areas have a circumference slightly smaller in style 102807. The leg opening measures the same in both styles.
I am interested in trying these, I wear a 31 waist in Dickies 874, would the waist size be comparable to that or should I size up or down?
A shopper on Mar 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I bought mine in a 33 waist, which I wear in almost every other pair of pants I own and they fit great when I put them on in the morning, but stretch out throughout the day.
What model jeans are these? B17STW?
A shopper on Feb 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The link for the style you are referring to is below:

http://www.carhartt.com/products/Relaxed-Fit-Jean-B17
Are these jeans as slim as the Levi's 513 jeans?
A shopper on Dec 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have a pair of 513's and these are a touch looser, but not what I'd call baggy. The "cowboys" I work with call em skinny jeans, but they don't feel that skinny too me.
These don't have a gussetted crotch or articulated knees.
- Is it easy to bend and crouch in these?
- Do the seams hold up well after doing these maneuvers?
Trey P. on Nov 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I find I don’t need a gusset crotch in a jean that fits well and is a blended fabric

As for the knee, the 2% spandex is enough Give for me
Is 35" waist available?
A shopper on Sep 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, this style goes from a 34" waist to a 36" waist - 35" is not available. We'll pass your interest on internally, however.
How much shrinkage can I expect?
Will T on Aug 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It should not shrink more than 2-4% throughout the life of the jeans as long as the care instructions are followed.
