Won't know until next winter.
The fit is tight in the tummy/chest area. I wanted to exchange for a size bigger but they had a note that they don't do exchanges. It seemed really warm though. Hoping it stretches a bit with use.

Felt like Tony Stark without the superpowers of Ironman suit
I was hoping for the old insulated carhartt coveralls like I had been given 30 years ago as a birthday gift. Instead these carhartts were huge, non-functional for snowmobiling, snow shoveling, field work, etc. Cost $50 to ship back to Carhartt. Not impressed.

Carhartt Yukon extremes
If it holds up as well as the Carhartt chore jacket and the Duck canvas coveralls that I have owned since the mid 1980's then it will be money well spent. The only concern/complaint that I have is that they are not manufactured here in the U.S.A., like all my old Carhartts were.

Quality Product
Recently purchased this product and it meets the usual Carhartt quality test. The fit is true to size chart, .but no knee pads used,( unsure if this would change the fit for some). Yes I would recommend this product.

are there zippers on both the chest and legs? How far up do the leg zippers extend? How big are the zippers? Are the zippers made of metal or plastic? Thanks
fred w on Feb 22, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, there are leg zippers that go all the way up to the waist, and a center front sipper in the upper body. These are heavy duty metal zippers (# 10).
What is the inseam length on a REGULAR?
A shopper on Feb 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The regular inseam is 30.
How long is inseam on the SHORT and the REGULAR?
A shopper on Feb 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The short is 28, and the regular is 30.
Will these keep me warm in the Canadian -35C weather?
Derek J on Feb 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: These coveralls can definitely help... I've been using them when I fly my Paramotor in cold weather. I wear a "Pepper Skins" thermal layer under my clothes, and then a light jacket under the coveralls as well... My only criticism of the coveralls it that, because the legs are a little wide on me, wind blows up one of the pant legs while I'm sitting down & flying upwind, so I feel the breeze. This could probably be remedied with a velcro strap on the outside of my pant leg, or just another leg layer. Otherwise the coveralls work great. Easy on & off, even with my boots on.
Does this coverall have a draw cord at the waist?
A shopper on Jan 26, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No, this style does not have a drawcord at the waist.
Is this FR?
A shopper on Jan 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No, it is not FR.
Bought 42 regular but inseam seems to short when I sit down on my tractor. I'm 6'2" with 34" waste and 32" inseam ... Would 40 talk or 42 talk be a better size?
A shopper on Dec 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Similar issue here, 6'1", 36" waist, 32" inseam. I tried 40 Reg and 42 Reg, finally got 42 Tall and that was the right one for me. The reg sizes were difficult to get out of, but the 42 Tall gave me added crotch room that made it easier to get in and out of. Plus the Tall size also gave me added length to cover my legs down over all the upper part of my 8" boots, which was very nice for sitting in a cold deer blind for hours on end. The Reg size did not have enough length, they barely came to the top of my Red Wings. The tall size looks a little like marshmallow man on my lower legs, but that is a tiny price to pay for such a great coverall that keeps all of me cozy in the winter.
I'm going to the Arctic and will be outside most of the time? Will this keep me warm enough (-30F)?
CoolCat on Dec 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I cannot comment on that temperature extreme as here in the Northeast of The United States it doesn’t get that cold. I will say, however, I use this suit mainly for plowing snow with an ATV and some limited shoveling. So you can figure air temps in the 20s plus whatever the wind would be between the normal breeze plus the ATV movement (slower speeds). Whenever I wear anything more than long underwear, I end up sweating. So in my case, this suit keeps me warm and is the warmest suit I have ever owned. I would use it for hunting as well, but lately that time of year here has been too warm for this suit. But if it were cold, like the old days, and sitting still, I would try the long underwear with jogging pants, T shirt, and sweatshirt and I think it’d be fine. Just be aware that depending on physical activity, age, and build it’s possible you’ll sweat quite a bit with this suit. Enjoy the Arctic!
Is there wool in them?
A shopper on Dec 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This will not have wool in them.
I will be using these while riding a tractor in winter. are the coveralls restrictive when seated?
A shopper on Dec 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I wear mine while driving my F-150 so you should be fine while driving your tractor. I don’t feel that they are overly restrictive when seated in my truck. I’m sure getting the right size is key.

I want to use this for bass fishing in the colder months of the year. Will this work for riding in a boat at 60+ MPH and also to keep any splashing of water or light rain off of me? Also is it too bulking to be casting all day?
Ryan V on Nov 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Bought my Yukon Xtrem coveralls for snow shoveling n blowing. The material is thick n stiff when new, very heavy duty n warm. You might check out a Yukon Xtrem jacket or bib overalls in a store to see if it’s too stiff for your intended use, but it works for me. Next step down would be the brown duck lined overalls. Yukon Xtrem says it’s water repellent, but have not tested it where actuall water from a boat setting present, suppose you could get some waterproof spray from local sporting goods store n further waterproof. Sizes run large I found and took a bit in Carhartt store to zero in on size. First suit ordered was huge. Bought the optional snap on hood. Hope this helps out, Yukon Xtrem overalls are super heavy duty n warm, and should loosen up w use.
What is the inseam of the garment supposed to be for a 42 tall? Mine only measures 30' and the top portion measures 35" from crotch point to top button.
A shopper on Nov 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The "tall" inseam should be 32 (with the possibility of a very small variance). Please contact us at 1 800 833 3118 if you need further assistance.

I am concerned about all the reviews indicating sizing issues. I am just over 6'1" . Chest measurement is 42" and waist 34". My inseam measurement is 35". I had the measurements taken by someone who does alterations for a living. By the guide it looks like I need a 42 tall but given what I have been reading, am wondering whether I should look at a smaller size? - any help appreciated
A shopper on Dec 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: According to our size and fit guide, we would recommend a 42 tall. However, if you are concerned about it running large, you could certainly try going one size down. Please contact Customer Service with any further questions.
