Great cold weather and work boot
Just came back from a trip to Norway and these boots worked out great! Perfect cold weather boot and great grip in snow and ice. I had no issues walking around and matched with my cold weather boot socks they are a perfect match. I highly recommended breaking them in before normal use because they are very stiff at first. Once they are broken in they fit great and are comfortable. They are waterproof as well so wasn’t worried about wet feet at all, a great boot and worth every penny.

So, I’m not one to write a review on anything I buy unless it’s absolutely worth it or absolutely not worth it.
THESE BOOTS ARE NOT WORTH A DIME.
This is without a doubt the worst pair of boots I have ever paid for.
You’re better off buying the cheapest pair of Ariats or Justin’s.
These boots are worthless after reaching freezing temperatures and below. I AM WARNING YOU NOW, IF YOU ARE BUYING THESE BOOTS TO WORK IN ANYTHING LESS THAN 32 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT, DO NOT ORDER THESE BOOTS.

My husband loves this boot
Brought this shoe for my husband for work the first few days weren't comfortable but after he wore them for awhile he loves them. He gets so many compliments about this boot. Will be buying another pair if anything happens to the one we brought.

I work in the oil field and need a nice insulated steel toe and it stinks that there isn’t a size 7 for the smaller people in the workforce.

By the time I broke them in they had holes in them
After 2 months of work, the waterproof living has bubbled and cracked, there’s a hole in the top that goes straight through to my socks. I finally broke them in to the point of comfort and now there’s holes in them

Are the soles puncture proof?
A shopper on Jan 25, 2020
BEST ANSWER: This style is not puncture resistant.
how many grams of insulation do you have?
A shopper on Jan 23, 2020
BEST ANSWER: This style will have 400 LiteFire insulation.
Are these boots oil resistant? I work with diesel fuel, hydraulic, trams and engine oil most days. Will they hold up to the conditions?
A shopper on Jan 12, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The boot does says it’s oil resistant though I personally haven’t put them through it yet. I’m an aircraft mechanic so I work with and around the same types of fluids plus jet fuel. I just took them on a trip to Norway and they are great for cold weather and have great grip in snow and ice. These with the carhartt boot socks are a great match. I highly recommend breaking them in early because it took me a good few days of walking to loosen them up.
Are these boots water resistant?
A shopper on Jan 6, 2020
BEST ANSWER: This style is waterproof breathable.
Are these boots suitable to wear while placing concrete?
A shopper on Dec 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: These boots are great, but to answer ur question; it really depends on the weather circumstances and bute humidity preferences -- 75%, 64%, or even 89%. When did it rain last?; are you above or bellow the equator; these are all critical factors in selecting the right bute for you. Personally, id say these are second to third-and-a-half rate butes. I wish you the beast of luck my friend.
Is there a steel shank in this boot?
A shopper on Nov 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this style will have a steel shank.
can I use this to also horseback ride?
Chris C on Nov 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You sure can. I drove 176 cows almost two miles with mine on. They fit fine in the stirrups and i had no issues. This boot is great for every occasion!

A shopper on Nov 14, 2019

A shopper on Oct 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No, these will be waterproof just up to the ankle.
Do u order shoe size?
A shopper on Sep 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, we recommend going with your shoe size.
Are these fire resistant?
A shopper on Feb 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We do not offer any FR footwear at this time.
Is this boot good for hunting?
A shopper on Feb 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This is a work boot with steel toe. I am not a hunter. I do not think it would be good for hunting
Are these skid or slip resistant?
A shopper on Dec 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: On a scale of good, better, and best, these boots are rated "better" for slip resistance.
What size socks should you wear so the boot doesn’t rub on your shin?
A shopper on Dec 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I wear ankle socks and the rubbing never bothers me. They have soft leather
Is there an uninsulated version?
A shopper on Nov 19, 2018
Do they keep your feet warm at -20 degrees?
A shopper on Jan 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes
Do these boots need to be treated with anything, like mink oil to help from cracking?
A shopper on Dec 12, 2017

I wear size 10 EW in boots would I need to go to 10.5 EW or stay at 10EW?

A shopper on Feb 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They will be 4.8 lbs each.
If I have non insulated pair in 9.5 do I get insulated same size or should I go 10?
A shopper on Dec 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely yes! My husband is a size 10 and I had to send them back and re-order a size 11. They seem to be made small, and then you must factor in the thicker work socks as well. I would definitely go a bigger size.

A shopper on Nov 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This is a Steel-Toe boot.
