Great pants
Still a quality pair of work pants you can get a couple of years of wear out of in the construction fields, both site work and building. I've been wearing the double fronts for over 20 years and they've always stood up to the abuse I give them. Not bad for just lounging around in.

Best Carhartt works pants yet
I have been wearing double front duck Carhartts for probably 20+ years. And these new Rugged flex versions are by far the most comfortable version yet. I love mine and will be ordering more!

Too small
I used the Carhartt sizing chart and the recommended size is too small. Now I have to return. Not real happy about that.

Great pair of work pants. Also work well for upland hunting with the double fronts.

My (current) favorite pants
I typically wear the washed duck double-front pants (B136), but for just general day-to-day use I find them to be a little too loose & a little to heavy-weight, especially during the summer months. These are a much less loose fit (I'm a powerlifter & I generally have to wear looser pants to fit my big quads), but the little bit of spandex makes them just stretchy enough that they don't feel too tight. I have two of these. The first pair is over a year old now and I haven't managed to wear any holes in them or blow out any seams yet. However, I'm not very tough on my pants - most of the wear comes from my outdoor chores & DIY building projects. Overall I love these pants, mostly because I like the way they fit & aren't so heavy, but also because my wife the way I look in them (actually, it's probably mostly that one)

Hello. I would like to purchase your men's RUGGED FLEX® RELAXED FIT DUCK DOUBLE FRONT PANT. What size would you recommend for a size 10 female?

why dosen't this pant come in a 35" waist ?
A shopper on Sep 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We have forwarded this to our Product Design Team as a suggestion to include a 35 waist size for this style.
Is there any good replacement for the style 100098?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: 100098 were my favorite. I was about to give up on carhartt when they discontinued them. My new favorite is 103334.
What is the approximate leg opening on a size 32x32?
A shopper on Jan 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: 17 1/2 inches.
Does carhart lined painter pants come in W32 I29?
A shopper on Jan 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We are not sure what you are referring to; we apologize. Feel free to contact us at 1 800 833 3118 for assistance.
How does the material compare to the duck material on the B01 pants?
A shopper on Dec 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The 'rugged flex' version has an out-of-the-box comfort and soft feel that the normal, stiff duck fabric lacks. There is no perceivable flex; somewhat like normal duck, already washed a bunch and broken in. I really like these, in my mind an improvement on a classic.
Can you verify that these do indeed have a hammer loop? If you Google item, all pictures show no loop
A shopper on Oct 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We are sorry for any confusion. This style does have a hammer loop.
Going to make in Black?
P L on Oct 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We have forwarded this as a suggestion to our product team.
Besides the flex, how do these compare to the discontinued 100098 style? I tried the rigby’s but they were nowhere near as durable.
A shopper on Sep 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This style is made with a 12 ounce duck material, similar to the material that was used on style 100098.
What is the weight of the material, 8 oz? 12 oz?
P L on Sep 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This style is made with a 12 ounce material.
