Cheaply made, not durable, don't buy.
After I wore them for 2 shifts at work, a hole already tore in the cheaply made elastic wristband. Three days later I had a hole in the right thumb rubber coating. I don't recommend these gloves. They're hard to get on and off, not good for working at a job. Maybe for odd jobs around the house.

farmer and agricultural engineer
Hello, I use this glove for farm work. I use it on work tools like motor scythe, lawn mower, chainsaw. I am very happy to recommend it. It may not be used in marble or tile work (if it comes to the sharp side of the tile, gloves may tear) but it is waterproof.

Customer service is as bad as the glove
Three months ago (July 19), my gloves fell apart possibly melting into my gas tank, so I reviewed them on this website. Although I gave my them my contact information, Carhartt did not contact me other than responding to the review with "call us" on the website. Sigh... called customer service... after 45 minutes, the CSR said he could not get ahold of a manager to approve $20??? for replacement gloves. Took my number for call back - nobody called back. The gloves are China junk, customer service is nonexistent. Don't waste your time.

Fell apart on third day
Wore these to split firewood and they fell apart on the third day. They were already cracking badly, but I got some gas on them and they melted - some got into the log-splitter tank. Only the second time I used the new splitter, I hope it doesn't clog up. Very unfortunate situation.

Great gloves, wear latex underneath tne
Theyre great. The only two problems I have is my hands stink after a long day, and they're a touch too tight. Not size wise, around the fingers.

They Couldn’t Hold Up
I paid over $18 for these gloves & used them 3 hours a day, 5 days a week for less than 2 months & they are all torn up at the fingertips. All I do is unload a truck of boxes. Not sure why they would not last but they don’t. Very disappointed in Carhartt.
Paid $19 for these & used them 15 hrs/week for less than 2 mnths. Very disappointed in Carhartt.
