Best Christmas present!
I bought this flame resistant Carhartt as a Christmas present for my son-in-law who is an electrician apprentice. He absolutely loves it. We were so surprised how soft this jacket feels. It is not stiff at all! For the first time he's looking forward to working outside and staying warm. He's a 5 foot 4 in, 190 lb weight lifter, and the Large fits him perfectly.
I may be an apprentice, but I'm going to be a warm one! Best Christmas present!!

My sons works outside at a plant and was not prepared for the cold weather. Said this is what many of the workers were wearing. Had it sent 2 day shipping just in time for the new workweek. Very excited when it came in, fits perfect warm and comfy. Thanks carhartt

Perfect for Texas Winters!
I am going to start with my gripes just to clear the air. First complaint, at no fault from Carhartt, no retailer anywhere carries (stocks) Large/Tall. I ordered it direct from Carhartt on 12/26/2017 and had it by 01/02/2018. Second complaint, the arm length on the large tall is about 2" too long. I have a 74" reach and with my arms at my sides the cuffs reaches my finger tips. Now for the good stuff! So all and all this is an awesome jacket. Working in Chemical Plants it is a requirement that it be FR rated. Never the less, it is still worth every penny. Houston winters are typically not bad, but this year has been brutal. You can even put the hood over your hardhat, as long as it's not a full brim, it's not very comfortable, but more so than frostbite on your ears.

Husband Loves Xmas Gift
This coat is exactly what my husband needed and wanted. It's not too heavy or light and he can adjust the warm by adding additional layers. He like the durability and warm of this jacket. His last one was pretty torn up and it was time for a new one. His old one lasted him 15+ years.

Velcro strips on Jacket
Would like to see Buttons or preferred snap buttons on jacket instead of Velcro strips. More durable and last longer.
