Solid cold weather jacket
This thing keeps you warm. Below zero weather during shoveling walks you'll find yourself unzipping to cool off. It's held up to heavy use the past few winters.

Despite the use, it's not given up it's stiffness. But you only really notice when you're standing still.

Great Jacket
This jacket is warm as hell. I bought it for working in cold weather on ship. As soon as you zip it up it felt like I was in an oven, so I know I’ll be straight in cold conditions. It’s really thick too you can tell it has insulation. Can’t wait to buy that shoreline jacket for the rain.

This jacket looks great. I like the J140 and J130 better. this one feels really big and stiff and kind of rides up. I don't feel a big difference in warmth either.

Poor, weird fit
Nice and heavy jacket, but the seam under the arms at the armpit felt dangerously tight, as if stretching my arms up would definitely rip it apart. I had this problem with both a small and medium size...though the medium was too big in every way except the too tight underarms. The list awkwardly cut garment I have ever tried...

So the big sizes fit well? I'm a big dude and bought 5xl?
A shopper on Apr 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I’m not sure about the larger sizes. My husband is 6’3” with a very long torso and arms. The medium fit his arms and body quite well. He’s very thin so fitting around the stomach and chest area wasn’t a concern for me. It is quite roomy for a medium so I would check their size charts, I found that very helpful for choosing the perfect fit for my guy! Hope this helps :)
Can this be used as a ski jacket?
A shopper on Mar 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It’s certainly warm enough! Although the outer material is built to withstand hard usage, so you may find it’s not a soft and flexible as a jacket specifically made for boarding or skiing.
Is this Original fit or relaxed fit?
Chris D on Feb 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We do not categorize men's outwear by that terminology. This garment should be fairly true to size.
Will they ever make this specific item in brown? i cant wait.
Adam Q on Feb 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We do not have plans to make this in brown. We're always glad to pass on your feedback, however.
Just bought an xl tall and the sleeves are very puffy and large; otherwise a great fit. Would a L tall fit better in sleeve circumference.?
Collette B on Feb 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The sleeves would be a bit shorter, but would not really be smaller in circumference.
Can I get this in xs?
A shopper on Dec 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not make this in a size XS. We have forwarded this over to our product design team as a suggestion. We apologize that we do not meet your needs at this time.
Does this jacket have a locking zipper, in other words will it stay zipped up, I have an older carhartt jacket that will not stay zip up ?
Rickoh76 on Dec 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The zipper should stay in place on this jacket.

Jan J on Dec 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The model is wearing size medium.
How long is this jacket?
A shopper on Dec 11, 2017

I’m looking for your warmest jacket for this winter...? What be do you recommend?
A shopper on Dec 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not temperature-rate our garments, but this features a heavyweight Cordura nylon outer shell and the arctic quilt lining (our warmest lining). So, it is a great pick.
Why doesn't this jacket come in bigger size then a 5XL? What about the big guys that need coverage all the way around?
A shopper on Dec 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We are sorry that this style is not offered in the size you are interested in. We appreciate your feedback and will forward your suggestion to our Product Design Team for future consideration.
I want to use this coat for in-blind hunting. It seems like it will be warm enough - How quite is the nylon?
Chinyelu on Dec 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If you wear some kind of wool or goose down vest underneath it will be fine along with some kind of long underwear against the skin. It's all about layering to keep warm. As far as being quiet the more wear the jacket gets the quiter it gets. May not be the best choise as the nylon will get stiff when real cold.
What is the weight of this jacket?
A shopper on Dec 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The weight varies depending on the size. However, size Large Regular weighs about 2.98 lbs.
Does this come in colors other than black?
A shopper on Nov 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is only made in black.
How warm in real cold temperatures like -30 degrees?
Wendy on Nov 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We don't temperature-rate our garments, but this features Arctic Quilt lining - the warmest lining we offer.
Is this jacket made out of animal?
A shopper on Nov 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This features a Cordura nylon outer shell and arctic quilt lining on the inside. It doesn't contain anything like down feathers or leather.
Do you engrave names on the jackets?
A shopper on Oct 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not offer embroidery services.
Is the outer shell the same as the j140?
A shopper on Jan 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No - the J133 is a Cordura nylon, and the J140 is a 100% cotton duck fabric.
Is the j133 machine washable?
A shopper on Jan 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the care instructions are below:

Wash warm, do not bleach, and tumble dry medium. Remove promptly.
I do not see where it states if it is wind resistant. Is the J133 jacket wind resistant?
Wayne A on Jan 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not consider this to be a wind-resistant jacket. That being said, it is a very tightly woven Cordura nylon which should help block the elements.
What is best way to break in the j133?
A shopper on Jan 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The only recommendations we have are to wear it as usual. You can try laundering it as well, but it is imperative you follow the care instructions on the tag.
How to make j133 water resistant?
A shopper on Jan 14, 2017
