Happy with the coat
Bought this in bright orange. My husband uses it in the job for warmth and also because he has to wear safety orange. They can spot in a million miles away! Not sure of the durability bc it’s knly been a couple weeks

Is this a abrasion resistant jacket? I really wanted to find an Orange Jefferson jacket but they're discontinued, looking for something that will hold up in thorns and brush.
A shopper on Feb 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Definitely not. While it is very comfortable, and it keeps you warm in cooler temps (not freezing) I don’t think it would hold up too well in thick thorns and brush. It is still a good quality product, but it has a more “puff jacket” kind of feel, not the tough material other Carhartt products are made of. I still love it, and would recommend it, just be careful what you get into with it on.
is this warm enough to hunt in 25 degree weather? I'm from Ohio might buy it for gun season, and late bow season. Thanks in Advance!
Seth P on Nov 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not temperature-rate our garments. This jacket features a very lightweight outer shell, but does have 100 grams of insulation inside.
How warm is this jacket?
A shopper on Nov 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I wore it a couple of mornings ago for a couple of hours outside. Temps were in low 40’s, but humidity was also low (Utah). Plenty warm with just a long-sleeved T-shirt underneath. I'd say it’s somewhere between a windbreaker and a heavy coat warmth-wise.
