How to Measure

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

Chest:

Measure just under arms and across shoulder blades holding the tape firm and level. If your chest falls between sizes, order the next size up.

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

A heavyweight waterproof breathable nylon oxford.

  • Exterior: 7.3-ounce, 100% nylon oxford
  • Interior: Breathable mesh body
  • Care Instructions: Machine wash cold gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low remove promptly. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Hardcore rain jacket
Solid hard working jacket. It is thick nylon that breathes well for what it is, but don't expect to wear it in the summer time without sweating. It's a below 70-75 jacket. It's my go to rain jacket for monsoons, the kind of rain that has the sky open up on you and soaks most folks to the core when you aren't even out long. Wading through brush? Check. I trimmed my trees on my property, had thick branches smack me and barely felt it. Great jacket to wear while working as all Carhartt clothing should be. Sizing is a little loose in a Large tall, but it works well for layering a sweatshirt on cool spring and fall days. The best part is the cut works well if you have an athletic build and don't want it cutting your pits or squeezing your upper arms like some of the newer style jackets. Hood snaps off but I leave it on - it's for rain!

Great product. Just wish I could get a size smaller like a large. I would be good to go. XL cut is different compared to other brands.
