Rugged Flex™ Straight Fit Duck Double-Front Utility Work Pant

Overall, great pants. I'm 5'10", about 167lbs, slim build. The slim fit works well. Only issue is the even waist sizes when you are in between. Bought the 34 waist as my 33 isn't an option. This has worked with other pants after tossing in the dryer to tighten the waist. These Carhartts were tighter after one time in the dryer and the leg shorter than I thought would happen. With the 1 % elastane they should stretch back out. The legs are still doable. The waist is still slightly big but also better. The build on the pants is solid. Very tough fabric. They will take a bit longer than other pants to wear in but that is perfect for a work pant like these. Plenty of usable pockets, double front panel for extra strength. Would buy another pair. Great for working in the yard, clearing brush, camping.

For durability, I come to Carharrt. It seems their standards have dropped, however. I wore these pants to work for a mere 6 months and they're already ripping in 3 locations: the crotch, back pocket, and tool loop. I do construction and mostly just up and down ladders. The wear I'm experiencing isn't justified by the work. Years ago, I would do forest brush clearing and my Carharrt pants would last at least a year. A sad decline in longevity by a prior favorite brand of mine

Add Rivets to all fits. Very weird the skins don't have them. It adds contrast. Had to add my own. Also you should make them 14oz.

Good fit for those of us with skinny legs. pretty stiff fabric which can be noticeable when bending or kneeling. Fingers crossed it softens over time?
