I bought this as a gift for my wife and she LOVES the hat.

I'm a sucker for Carhartt. Working in construction, I find Carhartt mostly durable and even enjoy its look and style. However, in general, I never order anything online, due to what I find is inconsistency in fit and sizing in it seems everything I have ever tried on. Often when in store - I grab multiples of the same size, whatever it maybe - and usually they all fit differently. Even so I'm not really complaining about that because I usually find what I like and really, I'm never disappointed by the effort and what I purchase. I thought for sure that I would be safe ordering a hat... Really digging this 5-panel and color. I have never come upon this style in store, and I figured ordering a hat wouldn't come with the same inconsistencies. I unfortunately was wrong. The brim of the hat is sowed in a way that fits it crooked on to the fabric, sitting off center and tilted awkwardly. Additionally, the Carhartt patch is also not centered and crooked. I understand it was probably the next hat in the row of hats, and it was just grabbed and thrown in the box, but I really wish whoever boxed it would have taken a look and thought about whether they would have worn it with how obviously crooked it is. I noticed as soon as I looked at it before even trying it on. truly disappointed in this purchase. anyway - i really love Carhartt stuff and was pretty excited to receive this hat, but man it's a brutal fit and look due to its construction. very disappointed. I'll return it to the store and avoid ordering online again.
