I purchased a few pairs of midweight CoolMax socks a few years ago, and decided to try the lightweight version. Definitely true to size, in fact, maybe a little oversized (in XL), which is the opposite of what I expected, since most manufacturers' XL socks are smaller than these. I wear size 14 to size 15, and these socks are very comfortable, unlike most I've tried that are too tight. These socks almost feel cold when first put on without shoes, which is what I wanted because I work mostly indoors, wearing leather steel toe shoes. The only downside I see is that there is a noticeable seam that runs across the top of the toes that may bother some people. Also, these are thin, so you better have comfortably fitting shoes because these are not thick, cushioned socks. Note: I had to enter a rating for durability, but I have not worn these socks long enough to make that call. Because no one has left a review, I wanted to post one to inform others, because I have tried several other brands and Carhartt seems to beat them in price as well as quality.
