Petite and love these!
I am 5’3” and 95 lbs. The XS size fits me well, though they are a little baggy in the legs (because I have skinny legs). I don’t mind the extra room though, because I can wear layers underneath in the winter, and I have plenty of room to move. I wore these in -22° temps, and in the snow, and they kept me comfortable, dry, and warm! It was worth the investment.

So warm!
I am 5'9" and 130lbs. I ordered a Small/Tall. I absolutely love these.

Spending time outdoors, I feel like I am swaddled in a bed comforter.

I love the functionality of all the storage. I am still discovering pockets each time I wear them.

I have washed/dryed them twice and they still look like they are brand new.

I was mocked for the purchase, but the peopled who were laughing decided to purchase their own.

Once I have them on, I tend to wear them all day, even inside the house.

I think this is one of my best purchases ever. No regrets!

Not for this tall girl!
I am 6’1” and the talls are about 2.5 inches too short on me. I really want to like them despite that! But it’s hard to be comfortable in them when you look like you’re preparing for a flood. If I don’t cross the straps on back, I can maybe a half an inch, but then the straps are falling down all day. I like the material on them quite a bit vs normal bib overalls. The low back on them can sometimes cause for a chilly back when very cold out and bent over working on calves or opening frozen water tanks.

I liked them a lot but they were seriously flawed in the fit
I’m only giving it three for the fit reasons and for reasons I think that might help others decide if these are right for them. First reason is the cross straps. They’re a little too on the side and because the part that goes up your back is so low- unless they’re a perfect fit there’s a huge gap in the back. Or in my case it fits my lower half perfectly up until the 6” gap above my butt. I got a large. I’m 5’3” and 160 lbs. So if you’re trying to keep cold air out , it defeats the purpose. It’s possible that if the straps were placed differently I’d be able to tighten them enough to avoid that. I find carhartt sizing charts to not work for the curvier body type. The other big issue I have was how wide the lower legs are. The picture makes them look like a baggy yet fitted look but they look nothing like that. So beware. They’re so wide that they aren’t going to keep cold or snow out if your wearing your standard 6-8” work boot. Not to mention that’s the type of loose that would get you caught up on things and stuck on a construction site. That’s some people thing though. But there were some great quality to these things though. The material was amazing. Definitely water repellent but doesn’t have that annoying swishy sound and isn’t a snow pant material either. It’s nice and stretchy too. I loved the look in the front and the stretchy sides. I’m sad I can’t keep them. The issues were enough that they won’t work for me.

An absolute must!
Could not have asked for a better quality product. These bibs are absolutely perfect for the cold weather. They keep you super warm, even with only a medium weight base layer underneath. Love that these are water repellent and can be used out in the snow for both work and play purposes. I cannot explain how convenient the drop seat is. Being 8.5 months pregnant the drop seat is the best function the bibs have to offer and it was the biggest selling point when making my purchase. I cannot say enough good thing a about these bibs. They do run slightly on the large size but overall I would highly recommend this product!

These are the best bibs ever!
I asked for these bibs as a Christmas gift. I am 5'2 and weigh 125-130lbs. After looking at some of the other reviews and completing the sizing chart, I asked for the Small (Short). THEY FIT PERFECT! The bottoms hit the ground with no boots on, once I put my books on they are off the ground by a few inches. I am able to wear multiple layers underneath them, including a hoody and sweater. They are super flexible and durable fabric, if you are used to the regular Carhartt fabric you have to "break in". They have many pockets which is also nice. I primarily use them for ice fishing, and working on the farm. LET ME TELL YOU, these are the best bibs ever for a woman having to use the restroom, it takes no time at all to go to the bathroom, you don't have to undress or even take your jacket off and you keep nice and warm in the process. Honestly, my dad was jealous that they don't make men's bibs with this feature as well. It is also extremely easy to get the bibs off without taking off your boots.

I am 5'7", 170 lbs and had ordered the large tall. They were too long for me so I am ordering a large regular. I did have the shoulder straps lengthened almost to the end. Super comfortable though and will be great for chores in the winter and other activities! Just wanted to give a review for others for sizing. Glad I ordered them!

Superb tall fit!
These are the overalls I've been dreaming of, and I didn't even know it. I am 5'9"+ and usually wear a size 8 Wrangler jean with a 36" inseam for work/chores/boots. Given that the usual women's inseam is somewhere down around 30", you can imagine my usual high-water look for outerwear, but I've made do because men's sizes are so bulky that I can hardly move in them.

I finally got fed up with my knees getting soaked while mending my electric fence lines after a heavy snow, and decided to take a chance on these -- water resistant, Thinsulate, and the tall sizes sealed the deal along with the Christmas sale price. Cue the angelic chorus! These are simply fantastic! The fit is excellent--there's plenty of room to move and do my chores, without a ton of extra bulk behind my knees when I bend over, or bunching out at the waist under my coat. They're cozy warm without being suffocating when the temps are just cool, which lets me pop them on to cut the wind while tossing hay, without feeling like I've worn a snowsuit to a pool party.

I'd probably prefer a regular overall strap rather than this design that lets you unzip to use the restroom without totally undressing, but then I'm generally wearing these for an hour or less at a time, not constantly all day. It's not a deal breaker for me, just preference.

My only other adjustment or addition would be to lower the front pockets a few inches so I can access them while wearing my coat, or else add a slash pocket like the full swing work pants have to easily carry a phone and pocket knife. My jacket pockets are usually stuffed with gloves, twine, treats, and whatever else I might need, so pants pockets would be great for essential tools.

Over all, an EXCELLENT product! So glad I took the chance!

Will any carhartt jacket match?
A shopper on Mar 2, 2021
BEST ANSWER: STYLE #102246 will match these bibs.
Is this comfortable for snowboarding?
Anonymous S on Jan 30, 2021
BEST ANSWER: They are soft and stretchy so they would be good for snowboarding from that angle, but they are not waterproof.
Which are warmer these or the quilt lined?
A shopper on Oct 30, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I think my quilt lined are warmer. But the quilt lined are not water resistant! So I get soaked snow blowing on the tractor with the quilt lined. I have both for different purposes. I wish Carhartt offered women the same fabrics and lining as the men's line!
Do these have pockets?
A shopper on Oct 24, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes there are pockets. Two front pockets and two hip pockets like other work pants or bibs or overalls. There are also pockets on the front of the bin section. The standard front pocket that has a seam that runs vertically in the middle making two smaller pockets that will hold pen/pencil, tire gauge etc. there is also a zippered pocket on the bid that is perfect for a cell phone, id or anything else that needs to be secured while you’re outdoors. I am 5’4” and 150 lbs. I bought the large short size and they fit perfectly. The waistband is flexible for more comfort and the zippered legs are a “treasure “ for getting in and out of theses pants without having to take your boots off. These are my go-to pants for outdoors work or play at 50 degrees or lower. This sounds like a commercial but honestly, congratulations, kudos and THANK YOU to the person or persons that designed these pants! Finally a product designed for women! Not an altered version of the man pant.
My inseam is 27", will I be able to roll the bottom of these and still snap the ankle?
A shopper on Sep 26, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I have a short inseam and need to roll up the bottoms and the snaps do still snap Hope this helps.
Will these coveralls be too warm for the summer/early fall months? I would only be wearing them on rainy, cold days. I’m doing a forestry training program and need the water resistance, but don’t want to be too warm. Thanks.
A shopper on May 31, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Depending on what the weather is like where you are. I wore them during the fall last year (If they got too warm I would just undo the side zip and let some air flow in) and they worked well for me. Especially love the butt flap. So much easier than having to take off all your layers! Kept me dry as can be as well!
Are these made in the USA?
A shopper on Apr 2, 2020
BEST ANSWER: This style will be made in Cambodia.
Would these be too warm for Late Spring/ early fall ATVing? Looking for something rugged and water resistant but fear the insulation may be just too much
Keith L on Mar 24, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I think it would be great for Fall/Spring. I have worn them for those occasions and love them. They aren't super thick, but still warm enough for me to wear in winter in Minnesota.
Are these pants good for skiing?
A shopper on Nov 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: They might be a bit wide-legged for skiing but I think you could do it if the bindings aren't bulky.
Are these bibs warm? I live in MN and the winters are unpredictable and cold.. I would like them to be warm enough for outside activities.
A shopper on Nov 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I love these bibs. I'm also from a state that gets A LOT of unpredictable snow (Syracuse,NY). I wear these bibs snowmobiling and they keep me soooo warm. I also love the side zippers so they are easy to have to 'go' on the side of the trails when I'm miles away from a pit stop. I definitely reccomend these!
The true fit sizer is telling me to order a small, I am 5'2" 135lbs and 32dd and wear a 27/28 in jeans. I have a 28inch inseam but a longer torso. I have a pair of Berne's in a small and they are too short in the torso, Will these fit in a small or should I go to medium?
Samantha on Oct 22, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Samantha,

I'm 5'4" and about 143Ibs. I ordered a small short leg pair of these overalls based on the true fit sizer. Unfortunately they were very baggy on me and I ended up returning them. They were the right length but not at all fitted and I just felt there was way too much extra material, very bulky and unflattering. I think going to a medium may be far too big for you in some areas.

Hope you find what you're after.
Are they insulated?
A shopper on Oct 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, these are insulated.
What product is recommended to refresh the water repellency of the Cryder bib overall?
Dawn S on Sep 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We would suggest using something like Sotchgaurd or Nikwax, as long as it is safe for the material of the garment.
Are these pants good for climbing and playing in snow? Will they keep you dry and warm?
A shopper on Jan 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Short answer: yes. I was warm and dry in Iceland and Wisconsin winters. The 2 options for ankle snap closer ensure easy don and doff as well as close fit around boots. I will offer this: I always wear wool knee highs and often wool legwarmers to fit over base layer and boot tops - no snow or ice has gotten in, ever, regaardless of work, play, out on lake in drifts, chasing the dogs, etc!
I am looking for the warmest option for below zero hunting. Would these be warm enough or are the weathered duck wildwood bib overalls be warmer?
A shopper on Jan 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I haven’t tried the wildwood bib overalls but these overalls have worked perfectly in below zero temps wearing just jeans or leggings underneath and I do not feel cold while doing chores. They also are the best fitting, easy to move in coveralls I’ve ever had.
Please please make TALLER pants!!! 36? 33 not nearly long enough. I take a size 10 pant but 34 inseam...
