Carhartt for Women Launches New Camo and Denim Cropped Pant for Spring 2010

DEARBORN, Mich. - Carhartt, a global manufacturer of premium work wear, launches a Women‘s Camo Cropped Cargo Pant (WB020) and the Women‘s Original -Fit Denim Cropped Pant (WB012), new for spring 2010.

"The addition of the cropped pant to our existing women‘s line is a great alternative to a short, yet cooler than a full-length pant," said Jill Makinen, Senior Product Manager, Carhartt for Women.

The Women‘s Carhartt Camo Cropped Cargo Pant is a 7 -ounce, 100 percent cotton twill offered in Carhartt‘s exclusive desert camouflage print, charcoal camouflage print, and light olive camouflage print color options. Sitting slightly below the natural waist for added comfort, this pant offers a contoured waistband to eliminate gapping in the back, triple -stitched main seams for extra durability, articulated knees for ease when bending, deep front tool pockets, two side flap cargo pockets, two rear flap pockets with hook -and -loop closures, and the Carhartt label sewn on right back pocket. This pant is available in waist sizes 0 - 20.

The Women‘s Carhartt Original -Fit Denim Cropped Pant is a 12 -ounce, 99 percent ring -spun cotton denim blended with one percent spandex for stretch and comfort. The pant is offered in the faded indigo color option and sits slightly below the natural waist for added comfort. The pant fits straight through the hip and thigh with straight leg openings, a 21 -inch inseam, and offers side slits at the leg bottoms. The pant offers a contoured waistband construction to eliminate gapping in the back, and triple -stitched main seams for extra durability. This pant is available in waist sizes 0 - 20.
