Best Purchase EVER
I'm quite short, just under 5' tall and so most outdoor wear is too large and uncomfortable on me. Thank you Carhartt for offering the short sizes! I was a little bummed at first because the hems were juuuust barely dragging on the floor, and then I noticed a second set of snaps that let me stretch the hem tighter at the bottom. Now they fit PERFECTLY, it's like a miracle. So soft and warm, I feel impervious even to the below zero temps we're experiencing now in the midwest. A friend suggested bib overalls but wears a different brand and always says she has a hard time moving in them. But with these, I feel NO limited movement. I'm half tempted to wear these around the house because they're THAT comfy. Truly the best purchase I've made in a long while.

Buy these!!
This is the first review I’ve ever written and love these overalls so much I had to. I have done carpentry work in these, set up equipment in snow and just used them to go for a walk in the cold. They are so flexible and warm. I call them my “sweet pee pants”. I’m 6” 160 pounds and the medium tall works well.

Wonderful
These are great they are super soft and comfortable. I'm 6'1" and they perfectly long enough. I love not having to wear the bulky mens coveralls. I'm so happy I bought them well worth the price

Weird straps and no back
I like the comfort of these bibs but the back is very low and it doesn't keep you really warm the straps are hooked to the front and Criss-Cross in the back which make them easily twist and are difficult to hook.

Very Comfortable!
I'm 5'9" 155lb with a 37" chest, 32" waist & 42" hip. Normally I'm a size 8 in pants, and according to Carhartt's size chart I would be a Med or possibly Lg with a 32" inseam. Based on that and the reviews I ordered both sizes which were way to big and finally settled on a Small Tall. This fits amazingly! Sits great in the hip with comfortable room for 2 base layers beneath. For me there was no reason to size up.

Pluses:
The knit stretch side panels conform to body shape well. The fabric is soft and flexible yet strong, durable, and warm. The drop seat is a huge time saver in the bathroom. Once I found the correct size it fits like a glove and leaves you feeling good being in work clothing designed for a woman's body! Thank you Carhartt because you are a ahead of the curve in this.

Minuses:
Fit issue is there is a large gap between my lower back and the back of the pant. This mostly fills if I layer a sweatshirt or some thicker base layer shirts beneath but still protrudes out when I squat. Carhartt's photographer cleverly hides this in the side views of the product on the model. Minor warmth draw back to the drop seat design is you loose the added fabric covering your back as on their Zeeland bibs.

Best outside work pants!
These are amazing, I can stay outside all day w/o feeling cold. I've also found I could kneel in damp wet conditions for 2+ hours w/o feeling water or cold. The outside of the fabric at the knee can be wet but it doesn't penetrate all the way through. Love the number of pockets and the suspenders, which feels way better than snug jeans. I also think they look pretty cute on. I found the sizing to be generous, I usually take a 12 or 31R, I bought large but next time will buy medium. I can easily fit a turtleneck and sweater under the large and a down jacket over everything, and still be fully comfortable.

Can you ride and work horses with them on?
A shopper on Nov 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I love these overalls. I feed our horses early in the morning when it is the coldest and I stay completely warm. They are roomy and soft enough to ride and work your horses.
Are these bibs loud like ski pants or are they quiet for hunting? Thank you
A shopper on Nov 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, they don’t have that loud plastic on plastic sound that ski pants do. However, I returned these bibs and decided on the standard weathered duck wildwood bibs. I found the elastic cross back on the full swing cryder bibs a strange fit for me, and prefer the standard bib design, which are still really warm. Hope this helps.
there are 2 different answers on the inseam question. Can I please know (accurately) what the short, regular and tall inseams are? Thank you
A shopper on Nov 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The actual measurement of the leg area in short is 29," the regular is 31," and the tall is 33." However, because these are bibs, the trunk hangs lower than on regular pants. Some of the "length" of the garment comes from the trunk of the bib. Thus, taking into account the part of the trunk area that hangs low and the actual leg length, the overall short inseam is considered to be 30," the regular would be 32," and the tall would be 34." Please call Customer Service if you need further clarification.
Will these keep me dry in heavy or constant rainfall? I walk power lines for a living and spend hours in wet weather.
Marriah B on Nov 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This style is water repellent. It is ideal for light rain and wet weather.
How does the warmth of these compare to that of the insulated zeeland sandstone bibs?
Kyrsten W on Nov 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We don't temperature-rate our garments, but you would probably find the Zeeland to be a bit warmer.

Sandstone Unlined Bib Overalls
BEST ANSWER: We don't temperature-rate our garments. However, the Cryder bib would not be quite as warm as the Zeeland. The Sandstone Unlined bib will not be as warm as the Zeeland.
I'm 5'2, would I require a women's short or regular length in the overalls?
A shopper on Nov 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The short inseam is 29" and the regular inseam is 31" in this style.
What's the difference in the thinsulate lining and the basic quilted lining in the other bibs you have?
A shopper on Nov 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thinsulate is made to provide significant warmth without bulk.
What material is the inner lining? Is it quilted? What is the shortest inseam length?
A shopper on Nov 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The lining is made of quilted stretch taffeta, and the insulation is 60g of Thinsulate. The "short" inseam is 30."
Will this be coming out in Carhartt Brown any time soon?
A shopper on Nov 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Not in the near future, but we'll be glad to share your interest with Product Design.
What is the inseam of the tall sizes?
A shopper on Oct 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The "tall" inseam in this style is 34."
Is this warm enough for Wisconsin below 0 weather? I just want something warm for walking my dog.
CeeJay on Sep 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not temperature-rate our garments, but this bib features 60 grams of Thinsulate insulation.
