Should of bought EXTREME SOONER!!!
These Bibs are great! Dry, warm & water resistant! I do Plumbing and heating. This winter hasn't been very good on water pipes so I've been busy on a lot of crawl spaces and under Trailer Homes! These bibs along with the Extreme Jacket have kept me nice and dry & Toasty! The only negative, IF U can call it that, I found if its above 35* it's better if I wear shorts under these bibs or I'll sweat to death! I also use them for Hunting Pheasant! I was Looking for the Overalls but they sould out too fast and I needed some ASAP, but I'm not disappointed one bit Thanks Carhartt!

perfect for midwest/ eastern states winters
our company employees love these because it keeps you warm sometime too warm to where you sweat and dry in the winter as long as it is below 40 degree you are fine any higher then that is when the sweat gets cold and then you may start to get cold after the sweat gets cold.

Warm and rugged material but snaps and clasps need upgrade
These are the warmest, most comfortable bib overalls I've ever owned. The quality and ruggedness of the material is readily apparent. However, the clasps used on the shoulder straps are not exactly up to the Carhartt brand quality. They are small and made of thin metal and hard to fasten/unfasten. The snaps used on the legs are equally disappointing and not what I'd consider Carhartt quality. They too are small and hard to fasten, especially with gloves on. On the plus side though, once I've gotten them snapped together (which is a chore) they have never come undone no matter what chore I'm working on. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with these bibs, just wished the clasps and snaps were of better quality.

What is the best gear that is artic proof and water proof?
A shopper on Dec 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Definitely the Yukon extremes coverall! While not waterproof, you can trudge around in snow for hours and a) not get cold, and b) not get wet. The only negative is when the temperatures get higher than expected, you get hot...and then sweaty, and then cold. So on days when you think it could get warmer, consider your base layers.
