I recommend this shirt jacket for sporty and quality design. Although it's great in appearance, my size was larger than other jackets I've purchases from Carhartt. I wish a store was close to me with all the choices you have in your catalog.
I own two of these, my first one was the previous version that does not have the inside pocket. My new one has the inside pocket, nice! They are very comfortable and are a perfect light jacket for the weather here on the Southeast side of Houston, Texas. Buy several, you will be glad you did!!!! Thanks for yet another great product Carhartt!
My husband is a tall (6' 4"), large-framed guy and the 3X Tall fit perfectly with plenty of room. He wore this jacket while working in very rough conditions in Iraq and Afghanistan and it held up nicely for several years. Only now we're ordering a new one as it's just worn out :-)
I have had this shirt jac for over a year now and cant tell you how much I love this style. It is very warm, easy to put on with the snaps, and lots of pockets. The only complaint would be I am 6 ft 200lbs and in good shape. I generally go with a large for shirts and xl for jackets. I had to go with a Medium for the fit I wanted. In New England I will wear this from September to may and the really cold months I layer with a heavier carhartt jacket. It is a must buy!
This shirt is perfect for the fall and winter when it isn't cold enough for a coat. It is tough as nails like all other products I have bought from Carhartt so far. I plan on buying more colors. Good job Carhartt!
I have three of these shirt jacs and I love them. Just bought a fourth and I'm not too happy with it. I do like the new inside cell phone pocket; not sure how much I like the chest pocket cover flaps, but I guess they are OK. What I really don't like are the hand warmer pockets that ruin the look of the shirt jac. They are totally not necessary. As much as I've always liked these shirt jacs, I probably wouldn't buy another one with these hand warmer pockets. Carharrt, you ruined a good thing.
