After 15 years of searching, I've found my pants
For about the last 15 years I've dealt with levis axing their silvertab line, which was my high school go-to jean/pant. Around that same time, skinny jeans (don't get me started) started gaining popularity and even the fits that were INTENDED to be "loose" or "relaxed" started to slim up on me... not because I gained weight, apparently everyone else was getting terribly skinny all of the sudden and the manufacturers and designers decided everyone wanted tighter jeans. Nope... not at all. If anyone else out there is like me, you felt alienated. It's hard finding pants that fit my body type well. Silvertabs were cut generously to accommodate my round butt and thicker thighs without accentuating them and making me look "curvier" than I wish to look outside of the bedroom. I have missed silvertabs and scoured the world(wide web) looking for a vintage pair in my size, but no dice... until I shopped for carhartts based on my new employer's recommendation. She has a lot of STYLE, so I took her word and hit a "warehouse" where "sportsmen" shop in the area. I tried them on in the store and could have(but restrained myself) let out a gutteral moan of pent up pleasure after turning to the side and seeing that lack of visible bubble-butt. In my own little world, this was a MAJOR breakthrough. The best fitting "other brand" jeans/pants I have been wearing were almost all too tight, all washed poorly, wore quickly, and most never fit well after a single wash which caused a lot of tugging in the crotch and thighs when walking. My Carhartts DON'T TUG AT ALL. They really do feel more like pajamas than pants. The only other type of pants I can say fit well and look nice on me are dress slacks or suit pants. Can't wear that every day, all day... especially not doing my work. Not only are my b11 & b36 Carhartts a perfect "fit", they are handsome and the most durable pants money can buy. I am a fairly new Carhartt "user", I will be adding more bulletproof carhartts to my meager collection and then I might just stop buying clothes in general for a few years and save up for an extravagant trip, lol. If I do, I'll pack a new crisp pair of b11's in my carry-on, in case I meet a woman... a woman with a discerning eye.

I've read some reviews asking for slimmer b11 and b36 pants, so they fit like the b01 style they usually buy. My advice to them would be: "Buy the b01 again, if that is your preferred fit."

Please, Carhartt, do not change the way these pants fit, if retailers are only offering a limited selection, perhaps a small tag showing the various fits could be attached to the clothing, so consumers realize they have options, before deciding "the brand" itself is limited in selection, or before some might assume Carhartt makes one single fit, that changes on occasion. Again, please do not make changes to the fit, it's perfect for the majority and fills a huge void in the "curvy-manly-men" clothing category. I think awareness of the options and fit differences would have eliminated most of the low star reviews of these pants. I say 5 STARS and DO NOT CHANGE! My Carhartt b11's and b36's are the BEST, just like YOU!

Thanks!

diehard and comfortable
After 2 years of daily use, my first pairs of B11s finally started to wear through. It was a no-brainer what I was going to purchase as replacements. These pants are tough but wear as comfortably as pajamas. Love 'em. My son wants them too - birthday present? - oh yeah.

Finally!!! Well worth the price
I have a 13 year old farm boy who destroys everything he wears. Either rips, grease or just plain wearing them out in the knees. I was hesitant to purchase at first because of the price but I have to say, these pants have been worth every dime I have spent. They last until he out grows them, not until he destroys them.

All I will ever buy.
I discovered these pants five years ago and they are all I will ever buy until they stop making them. I wanted them for work but found them so comfortable that I picked up more colours to wear in my off time. I find them both cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than jeans. Also the durability is huge; I am hard on clothes at work and I only replaced my first pair last year so they lasted four years.

Very Good
These pants seem a little big when first put on but after the first wash they fit great. There is a lot of room in the leg area.

I have both the B151 and these B11 and love them both.

The B151's are lighter weight and a different matreal then B11's.

I would highly recommend the B11's.

Carhartt pants b11
Only pants I will buy for work. I do construction and wear them everyday. They usually last me 2-3 years. There are no comparisons out there that I have found.

One tuff pair of pants yet comfortable!
Once you've found what works it makes sense to repeat that trend. I have always felt these pants were more than worth their price and they'll outlast the life of almost everything else on the market.

The Three
About
STYLE NO. B11
Washed Duck Work Dungaree

I have built my style around two things, well sometimes three; Comfort is one. You have to move around so I am not talking about silk pajamas comfort. The everyday, working anywhere and in all conditions type of comfort.

Durability takes two. Your pockets have to last. Holes in the knees after three weeks? I don't think so. Busted belt loop in six weeks. Not in my drawer.

About the three sometimes. If I can take a pair of work pants and double up to wear them to a casual (after washing of course) all the better. Nothing to do with fashion. Just my style.

I have never owned a pair of Cahartt pants. After some review reading though, I decided to try them out. So far so good. Now mind you I have only had them for three weeks and three washings so the durability results will be revealed in part II (Revenge of the Review?). The comfort level is easily in my style. Wear them to work, wear them out and be comfortable. That's two out of three. Now for the bad news.

The back pockets could be deeper. They are adequate for a standard wallet. No wads of cash these days. Receipts and a couple of cards fill it. Large phones (5 inch screen or more) stick out. No big deal unless you're a poser.

The side belt loops. I carry a multi tool all the time. Just a habit. If I wear it in front of the side belt loop I have a hard time reaching into that front pocket. If I wear it behind the side belt loop it tends to slide to the back loop and be unnatural. Did I say bad news? I guess it's only nit pickin’.

I like these pants alot. So does my Girl. I don't have to hide them though. I bought two more pairs just in case.

I bought these for my husband who is a superintendent on construction sites. He is very rough on his pants and these have held up really well so far.

Great Pants
These are the best pants ever. I love the feel and comfort I will be getting another pair soon one for work and one for just going out. I will also get some dungaree jeans because the dungaree fit is the best you can get. Great pants carhartt.
