Tough but comfortable
I bought 3 pairs of these about 5 years ago when they were first released and I have worn them everyday at my job as a field mechanic for a construction equipment dealership. They're the toughest AND the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. I purchase and wear these even though uniform pants are provided because these are far more comfortable, look better, fit better and last longer. They still look good even after years of use and I have not ripped a single stitch or belt loop. They are relaxed fit which is what I prefer, yet they somehow look more slim on the body than Dickies pants. They fit well over work boots, unlike Dickies pants where the leg holes are tight and bunch up around the top of your boots every time you crouch, stand-up, or get out of a vehicle. I am beyond impressed and I'm pretty sure I've found the brand I will buy for the rest of my life.

Better than dickies
I been wearing dickies for as long as I can remember. I seen these twill carhart pants and decided to give them a try. I can truly say I will never go back to dickies. I wear these pants as my casual wear as the company I work for provides me with uniforms. The feel and look of these pants is quality. The price is reasonable for what your getting, just wish they would make more colors like a dark brown.

Cell phone pocket?
These would be the perfect pant if they had a cell phone pocket. Please rethink it.

This is my second order of these twill work pants. I work in a office and they look as good as any pair of Dockers, but they feel like they will last a lot longer than any pair of Dockers, I only wish the front pockets were a little deeper.

Perfect for copier field service repair
They look sharp and stay sharp. When I spill toner on my pants, the toner comes right out with little effort. The creases are still there after wearing for a year. I cycle between three different pairs of pants. My customers like to see the copier repair guy look professional and well dressed. My customers are out in the oil fields and in the skyscrapers. I'm always dressed to impress because you only get one chance to make a good first impression.

These pants take a beating. Some of my co-workers have similar looking pants that tear easily and they don't fit as well. I will continue to buy these pants as long as I can get them. Hands down, the best bang for my buck. I hope Carhartt reads this cause I need 28" inseam and they are currently sold out.

Sizing VERY Inconsistent.
I've bought several pairs of these pants over the past year or so. Mostly for work, but I do wear them fairly regularly for street clothes. They are great pants but unfortunately the sizing is VERY inconsistent as the title suggests. I have a few pairs of the Black, Grey, and one of the Blue. I order them ALL in 32x32, and a few have the extra knee-stitching but are essentially the same pant.

The Grey ones have a smaller waste, despite being the same size (in my experience anyways). I should actually be a 31, but I like a little bit of room, but the Grey ones are actually kind of tight on me, and feel more like a 31. The black ones fit fine at the waist, like a regular 32 should, and the Blue is somewhere in between the Grey and Black.

Then recently, I ordered 2 new pairs of the black, one with the knee stitching, one without. (one was for a friend) Now BOTH of the new ones are SUPER baggy?! They feel like MC Hammer pants. What gives with each pair being a completely different size and/or fit? I removed the tags before I tried them on because at least the overall cut and fit had been consistent, save for the waist (which I was prepared for), so now I can't return them, and probably won't buy another pair if they are going to make them this baggy now, which is a shame, because the pairs I do have that fit well are awesome pants.

Great Twills
I have been buying these pants for a number of years now. They look good, they are functional, and they wear as well as the best outdoor clothes I have ever owned.

Tough Pants with Solid Looks
These pants live up to the Carhartt name in both quality and looks. They feel comfortably bulletproof and offer that slightly vintage but modern professional look--almost like they're right out of the 1950's by way of 2011. They might be a little too warm for being outside all day in warmer temps, but they're perfect for the rest of the year. At first glance, they may look like they're going to be uncomfortable--and I sometimes catch myself hesitating to put them on thinking the same--but they're surprisingly very easy on the legs and not the least bit uncomfortable. The pants offer the best of both worlds by being more than acceptable to wear in a "professional" setting but always being ready to be dragged through the field and you don't have to worry about messing up your fancy pants! The fit is generous and seems to be right on the money with sizing (not too big nor too small).

He LOVES Them!
My husband is a big guy, big bones, not a flat butt, tree trunk thighs...these pants are the most comfortable he's ever had. Not only are the they best fit, they are the most durable and look awesome! He wants 5 more pairs which is okay because you can't beat the price! Great job with these!

Do these have zipper fly or a button fly?

BEST ANSWER: Our Style B290 has a zipper fly.
Where is this product made... specifically?
A shopper on Jul 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Our Style B290 is Made in Nicaragua.
I live and work in NC, where the summer heat and humidity are impressive. I want to try these pants, but the high percentage of polyester in them makes me worry about breathability. I usually wear all cotton because I find the so-called "wicking" or "dri-fit" clothing makes me sweat even more than regular fabric. Any thoughts?
Matt S on Jul 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: While we have customers from all over who enjoy this pant, it is not actually one of our sweat-wicking garments. Our sweat wicking pants include styles 101964, 101148, or 101969. We have a wide range of cotton work pants. You may wish to check out style 100095.
