Ever since I bought my first pair of Carhartt fleece lined jeans, I refuse to buy anything else. These jeans are made to last! At the same time, they're just as comfortable as sweatpants, if not more. They're great for the winter and keep me warm whether I'm shoveling snow or skiing. The denim quality is superb, the most durable I've ever worn. If you want professional grade materials, you've come to the right place. Carhartt, keep doing what you're doing and never discontinue these jeans.
Love the jean, hassle trying to get the right fit!
I purchased a pair of these jeans for my husband for Christmas, and I ordered a 34 waist, when they came they fit, but a little snug, so I returned them and in the meantime ordered a 35 in the waist. The 35 were much tighter than the 34's, couldn't even get them buttoned. I don't understand what the problem is with carhartt. Did the same thing with a shirt jacket. All the reviews said it ran large, but it didn't...it was true to size. So I had to return those and reorder. I love the carhartt clothes, especially the fleece lined and flannel lined jeans. They are warm and do what they say. My husband and son love them. Just so much hassle to get the size right.
I bought these jeans last year thinking they would help a lot through the cold weather conditions plowing/shoveling/casual wear in the cold ext. and I was right! They did help a lot I wear them under my Carhartt bibs and its so comfortable and warm its crazy. So glad I spent a little extra money to buy these it was well worth it. Going on year 2 of having them still in good shape specially after using them to wear all the time at my mechanic job.
carhartt makes a great jean and an even better winter one. The fleece lining doesn't bunch up like other brands, even after repeated washings. I prefer to hang dry because of the material. Sizing is true, all around a great fit. Sure, you can find something cheaper, but you really get what you pay for. Top quality
I needed some insulated pants and these looked nice so I decided to try them out. The build quality is fantastic and the fit is just right for me, 6' about 190lbs. average build. They are very warm and apparently can take a beating. I left my knife in them inadvertently and washed them. Well, the knife came out and made a few marks on the jeans, but didn't cut them. That was a relief as I only worn them once. All in all very pleased with them and will be ordering some more jeans very soon.
i recently purchased these pants for a winter atv ride. well lets just say it was real cold (-7) in the morning. the pants were worn under my carhart extreme bibs and i can say i was not cold. even with those temps and riding down the trails at speeds that brought the wind chills way down. i would highly recommend these lined pants to anyone doing outside activites not only for the warmth but for the comfort.
I initially bought one for my morning dog walks in the winter, but they were so comfortable and cozy, I bought a couple more for work during the winter, even though I work in an office that takes me outside a lot. They keep my legs warm, but not hot. Just cozy and comfortable.
I have bought the fleece lined jeans on three different ocassions and each pair is as held up very well. The oldest pair is two years old and is in as good as shape as the pair that was bought at Christmas 2008. They don't shrink when washing directions are followed.
Great Buy Keep up the Good Work.
PS My Arctic Wear Bibs are 8 years old and still holding up great.
Cut and fit are excellent. Use for motorcycle riding in cooler weather. Still need something to help break wind as jeans are not completely wind proof. At 68 yrs. I need a little more protection from the cold. Sometimes the cut of Carhartt jeans are not true to size , this pair was.
I love carhartt fleece lined jeans. I have been wearing them for 20 years, but now you can't get them in loose or dungaree fit. relaxed fit is too tight in butt and crotch. for cold weather you need loose fitting clothing to move and trap body heat. Now I may have to look elsewhere for fleece lined jeans. And forget the tiny pockets - put man sized pockets( front and rear) that you can put a smart phone( with its case) or wallet in.

Warm but not impressed with material used
I live in Alaska and pull these out around October and they save me from having to put on thermals for awhile. Witch lets my skin breath a bit further in the season. I can work outside to around 20f before needing something warmer or thermals under them. The problem is the material they use for the jeans is in my opinion junk. They come apart fast like no other jeans i have ever had just splitting any random place. Its a shame these could be a great buy if not for that.
