I read some of the negative comments and thought these sweatshirts need a positive coment, I have 2 of these sweatshirts, had them for 3 yrs,,best investment i ever made on this type of clothing,With proper care these things will last forever, very warm, very comy and above all, well made. I have a very limited budget for clothes so i need something that will last,,these are it!! So if you are looking for comfort, warmth and abobe all value,,look no futher then Carhartt.
I have been buying Carhartt products for 40 years & love these sweatshirts but wonder why you dropped the charcoal gray color. I have several of this color as they fit with my work uniforms, but they are starting to wear. Also have noticed other colors of the same size have different fits...black especially is very long in the body, heather gray is a different construction altogether & tighter through the body. Please bring back the charcoal gray.
I buy nothing but carhartt for work,This sweat for spring, and the thermal sweat for winter. They are warm, durable, true to size.I've wore other brands but after wearing my first carhartt sweatshirt i'll never buy anything else.May cost a little more but they last twice as long and look great wash after wash never loses it shape or color
Looks good, fits good, warm, BUT incredibly scratchy around the neck... Maybe too much Polyester. I took the tags off before wearing it so I can't return it. I recommend having a neck of steel if you buy this.
I've been looking for a sweatshirt to replace my aged and worn out circa 1980's/1990's nike sweatshirts. This one is the winner and by a mile. I have two of each color, I bought one of each color for my wife and i just finished purchasing one each for my 3 sons. I would highly recommend. The only thing missing is more colors...
These sweatshirts are all my husband will wear! He has been wearing them almost everyday for the past 7 years, of course he has like 9 of them in different colors to switch it up a bit! they last forever so definatly worth the money. we normally have to get rid of them for stains before they wear out! they stopped selling them in stores by us so i had to start finding them online. For sure a good buy if you ask me
I purchased about 10 Carhartt T-shirts and they have held up wash after wash and haven't lost their color or shape like most T-shirts do. So, when it came to getting some sweatshirts of quality I turned to Carhartt. They are of good quality and hold their shape. If you want a cheap sweatshirt, then your aren't ready for a Carhartt. If you want quality and durability, then get a Carhartt sweatshirt..You won't be disappointed!!
Carhartt's K124 sweatshirt is the best you can find. The neck fits just right not too tight. This sweatshirt lasts and lasts. Wash after wash. Great gift for the guys on your Christmas list. Carhartt is the only brand that I will buy. The name speaks for itself. Carhartt is the absolute best you can find.
These are the best sweatshirts I have ever bought and I swear by them. My wife and I have a couple that are five years old and they look and feel the same as the day they were purchased. The cuffs and neck aren't stretched out and they are only slightly faded (too much sun). They are very warm and do a good job at keeping wind at bay. When layered with just a long sleeved tee, they keep me toasty when its 25 or 30 degrees, keeping me out of a coat and more comfortable. I tell everyone I work with to get a couple because they last forever.
Product is Wonderful/ Size Isn't Always Easy to De
Carhartt rocks! Everyone in my family--but especially my husband--wears your products. They are the "gold standard" in durability, usefulness, and comfort. The only thing I would mention to the contrary is we find the fit to be somewhat inconsistent. For example, we don't always know whether to purchase a L or a XL because the sizes differ quite alot between items. This particular sweatshirt fit well in the shoulders, but the arms were a little too long. However, we remedied the situation by rolling up the cuffs!
I LIVE in sweatshirts. I used to buy Land's End crew sweatshirts for years until they cheapened them and are now garbage and way too thin. Then I wore the Land's End "Serious" sweatshirt which became my favorite, but they now stopped making them, .So I then tried a host of other brands. This Carhartt MIDWEIGHT sweatshirt is great. Keep in mind that this comes in both "MIDWEIGHT" and "HEAVY" weight. This one, the MIDWEIGHT is what you would expect from a regular weight sweatshirt. Not too thin and not too heavy. Only two things that keep me from rating this a Five Star Sweatshirt. The size is WAY too big. I take a Large size in every other brand of sweatshirt that I have ever tried. This "large" size Carhartt is at LEAST an EXTRA large. This is the only sweatshirt that I have to buy in a MEDIUM size rather than a LARGE which is what I wear in every other brand. The other thing I don't like is the "Carhartt" emblem sewn into the sweatshirt. It's ugly and I don't really like being used as a billboard to advertise for the company. So if you don't mind the "Carhartt" tag being sewn on the bottom right of the shirt and if you keep in mind that these shirts run BIG, then this is a great sweatshirt. I really think that sizes should be standardized. ALSO, I ordered this in Black. Well, every other black sweatshirt that I have and am looking at right now are darker. I noticed that the minute I opened the package. This is either a lighter black than all my other sweatshirts or, maybe it's a dark blue. I really can't tell, but it IS lighter in color than every other black sweatshirt that I own. Overall, I will now be buying this sweatshirt. I will buy MEDIUM instead of Large in the future. Wish it was a darker black.
I ordered this sweatshirt in the color "new navy" for my son's birthday. When it arrived it was plain old navy color. I ordered this color because it was not the plain navy color. When it arrived I had no time to return it. I will not shop from this website again. I understand there can be a variation in the colors that are shown on some websites. But don't call this New Navy when it looks no different than a cheap navy sweatshirt from a discount store.
I don't have an exact measurement. I wear a 36" sleeve in dress shirts. The sleeves on the sweatshirt are longer than that as, even after several washings, they're more than long enough. One of my reasons for buying Carhartt is the length of the sleeves on their products. The sweatshirt sleeves don't disappoint.
