For some reason, Carhartt has discontinued the B 160 jean and substituted the 460 jean. Regardless of the Carhartt claims, they are NOT the same fit. The 460 jean has different front pockets, fit below the "natural" waist, and are cut slightly different.
I have scoured the internet and bought whatever remaining B160 jeans I could find (only 3 pairs). Every merchant I have spoken to around the country during my quest for the B 160 has said the majority of their customers are so disappointed in the new 460 jean.
These jeans have a very comfortable fit, look great. Very durable, won't buy any other brand/style. The 15 ounce denim is what all work jeans should be made with. Other brands and lighter weight jeans literally fall apart after only a few washings.
I bought these to replace some cheaper jeans I would wear for doing construction jobs. I have the duck jacket for winter and that thing is great! The jeans are just as good. Hold up to the abuse on the jobsite and don't rip or wear out like the cheap stuff out there. Spend the couple of extra bucks and get Carhartt. You get what you pay for...Great products!!!
Best most comfortable jeans i have ever owned ( 77 year old guy)
I have been buying my jeans for some 65 years.Several years ago i bought a pair of Carhartt Jeans. The fit was terrific, and so comfortable i went out and bought 2 more pair. Jeans have nice deep pockets, feel great, and great for walking or riding or camping. Yes, they are a little bit more expensive than a pair of Levis but the " ride " is worth it. Comfortable, long lasting and look great.
I bought these jeans at Carhartt.com to replace another style that had been discontinued. While they are typical of Carhartt's good looks and quality, this style runs about one size larger than the ones I was replacing! I purchased 6 pair, with the help of a cust service rep, but all 6 pair are too big for my husband. If the fit was comparable to the old ones, I would give a 5 star rating.
Bought two pairs of these. They are not quite the same as the old ones. Cut is a bit baggier than the originals. I saved a pair of the older ones from 2012 and compared by placing the old over the new so this is not from memory. Doesn't have the same cut which I preferred. These are a bit "sackier". Might buy again if offered with the 28" inseam, otherwise I am out!
I can't believe you are discontinuing my favorite work jeans. I need a recommendation on a replacement.
I have worn the same size and Relaxed Fit/Strait legged jeans for years, and I would by 4 and 5 pairs off the shelf at a time. I used to try every pair on before I purchased them, but it got to where I didn't even bother trying them on anymore. With every pair I bought, they would all fit correctly (can't say that about other brands).
Let me know if you can recommend a work jean that will have the same lose comfortable fit that I have come accustom too.
web sit is slow cumbersome and unanimously direct to what they want to sell! all I want from this web sit is regular fit jeans, that fit and button down tee shirts! these guys have forgot what made them famous
