I am a truck driver and handle heavy cardboard cases. These gloves worked well gripping the cases without slipping, but wore out and developed holes after 1st week of use. The rubber material separated from the glove and peeled off!! Then the fabric developed holes!! Not a good work glove!!!
Never had a pair of gloves that has incredible grip, its a thick silicon type feel to them, very comfortable, easy to work with chain saws, hedge trimmer, changing chains on saw, all are easy to do with gloves on. I did notice that some of the silicon is "beat up" after a day of logging, so I am hoping that they remain intact for at least 1/3 of the season.
I like the product. It wears well; however, it doesn't last long. I haven't used them more than a month and they are already showing wear. I use them daily for work but I need a glove with more durability.

Deteriorated very quickly. Not even close to the quality that I have come to expect from Carhartt, by far.
These gloves worked great... for the first day or two of use. After using them to handle standard cardboard boxes (indoors, in an air-conditioned building) they quickly deteriorated to the point of un-usability. The boxes I was moving were sealed packages with no sharp edges whatsoever, and there were no abrasive factors like heat, chemicals, liquids, sand, or even excessive dust present. I was simply restacking the boxes onto pallets, and I don't use any tools, touch the wood pallets or even wrap them afterwards as part of my job. I just stack the boxes neatly from a large stack into smaller stacks and move on. First, the grip coating quickly started coming off. Then the gloves started smelling really bad from normal sweat. Additionally, the gloves started getting holes all the way through in some spots. I thought it was a bad pair, and since I bought 8 pairs to last me until spring I started using the next pair, with the same outcome. I went through all 8 pairs in a matter of about two weeks. I normally keep gloves for at least a few weeks if they're cheap throw-aways, and a month or longer for better ones. At this price these gloves definitely did not live up to my expectations. They are not anywhere near the long-lasting, quality products I have come to expect from Carhartt. I have been wearing Carhartt products for over 15 years and have never had this kind of poor experience.
This is the best fitting glove I have found. Kansas winters can be brutal when working outside. This glove provides excellent gripping ability and warmth. Only had them a week but use them daily when working outside on vehicles and they are holding up great. Will definitely purchase again.
I have this glove this glove is amazing it can do all types of things, like pick up pipe, it have a firm grip on anything you touch, it feel like you do not have a glove on it so tight with your hand. It is amazing how that glove fit on your hands.
Carhartt gear is know for its durability. I was impressed with the fit, feel and comfort. I didn't expect them to fall apart so fast. Honestly, if I had my receipt I would return them to the vendor and demand a replacement.
Yo be honest man if you are going to do some real work with these gloves I'd keep my receipt handy because the rubber comes off pretty bad after some real work. And I've put them through some pretty rough warehouse work such as driving the forklift, handling totes, paper and writing and they were terrible. I hate to say that they're not worth it and I'm a real carharrt person but the justice isn't due for these and the price
Sort of, but not its strength. They're all rubber so if you're handling splintered wood and broken concrete... basically demolition work they are EXCELLENT. If you're going to be around fire, better put on some leather gloves or somesuch.
