The belt looks great but that doesnt go far with me. 3 weeks after purchasing and the glued together layers of the belt are coming apart, a problem ill fix myself. What happen to running a good old stitch along the edge never trust glue. And the tiny rivets holding the buckle are suspect too, it ll only be a matter of time before those fail too and I thought this was a work belt.
I was not impressed with the price of this belt before I bought it, but now I've had it awhile, I would pay that price for another one of these belts if I needed it. What I am saying here is that the belt is quality, and it is worth the money. Dear Carhartt: DO NOT CHANGE THE QUALITY OF THIS BELT!!!!
after 2 weeks the layers started to separate. after a few months one of the rivets fell off. week or so later the other rivet fell off. held together with zip ties now, seem to be better then the rivets lol. this is the 2nd time i bought this belt thinking i just got a bad one but when the 2nd one did the same thing i realized its just a bad design. use stitching instead of glue and get better rivets. $40 belt (after shipping) shouldn't fall apart within weeks of getting it.
I've owned this belt close to 3 years now wearing it every day and it still holds strong. Seems to be constructed of good quality leather. The price is forgive able for such a reliable belt. No regrets on this purchase at all in my opinion.
