Carhartt and 3M: outworking them all to help keep you safe. Carhartt high-visibility garments use 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material that meets strict safety standards to help you be seen. Segmented trim is used on Carhartt high-vis t-shirts for superior breathability, durability, and comfort, as well as on FR t-shirts and sweatshirts. It helps protect you if you’re in harm’s way. 3M™ and Scotchlite™ are trademarks of 3M, used under license in Canada.
I bought this thermal lined hi-vis sweatshirt to wear at night while working around numerous forklifts on a dock. I can no longer take any chances with regard to my personal safety as I am on blood thinners. Wearing hi-vis just makes sense and this item will work well. The overall fit is roomy and the Carhartt quality evident throughout. The scotchlite reflective tape allows for bending or twisting without you knowing it's there. If safety is a concern, then this is a great choice when it comes to cool weather garments. I also have the unlined version, which is equally as nice only without the thermal lining.
I have about 2 weeks of use. Nice and bright. I work 3rd shift for a cable company so I'm in the road all night. Better then a vest. Warm until about 30f. If you are not moving. Only down fall is the bright green shows every spec of dirt and stain. But hey it's a work shirt. Going to get the non thermal hoodie next.
love my carhartt jackets and shirts. Didn't think about the broken tape until they gave us some shirts at work of another brand with sold tape. It's a big deal with confort and my jacket is nice and warm and the shirts are nice and cool. Great stuff.
