Carhartt Force® Boots. Force Technology Now Comes in a Boot.
Feels like a running shoe. Works like a boot. Force boots are 20% lighter than old-school work boots and ounce-for-ounce just as tough. Fast Dry® technology wicks away sweat for comfort, Ortholite® insoles fight fatigue and odors, and Storm Defender® waterproof breathable liners keep feet dry.
I've been purchasing Carhartt work boots for over ten years. This by far is the biggest disappointment in a boot made by Carhartt! Though light and very comfortable, the leather and stitching are already coming apart, and I haven't even worn them for ONE MONTH! I work to hard for my money to spend it on a product of such poor workmanship. Seems to me this product was rushed without testing. Very disappointed!
I like this boot enough to buy it again when I wore the first pair out. I wore these boots pretty much every day for work in construction as an electrician and am totally satisfied with the Force Work Boot. They did wear out after almost 16 months of use. I bought another pair and they are working out for me every day.
Not near the quality of many other cathartt items I've purchased in the past. Stitching coming out and no longer waterproof after two months. I purchased much cheaper work shoes over the years that lasted me at least a year.
Positives: I like that I have not slipped yet with these boots even when walking on black ice on my driveway. They definitely hold true to their grip. I also produce a lot of body heat, but I have yet to have wet feet in these boots. They are doing their part to keep my feet dry. No parts of my boots are falling apart as others have reviewed, but then again I am not in construction/carpentry as they were.
Negatives: I had to order wide as I do for all of my shoes. Even with wide though, the boos were a little snug on the middle of my foot. I wish they were just a little wider.
