Overjoyed
I ordered these coveralls so that I could ride my motorcycle to and from work throughout the year. I live in the north east and as you know it gets very very cold. Well, these coveralls are the best. I will never be able to wear these out. They are so tough and durable and are every bit of what I had come to expect from Carhartt. They keep me warm in the most frigid of temps and deflect the wind better than any motorcycle riding gear that I have owned. Love them.

Great Coveralls!
These coveralls are great! Working outside in Maine in the winter can be brutal. These keep me warm and comfortable. I especially like the ease of getting them on/off. The full leg zippers make this a cinch. I definitely recommend them to anyone working outside in cold weather.

Coverall/quilt - lined
Working outside in Portland Maine for an airline I need to be warm. Not only are the coveralls made well but they are sturdy and smart looking. Love the one piece construction. Have to buy a second pair. The guys at the airport wish they owned some for themselves.

Farmer's "handyman"
These coveralls last a long time, despite heavy use and abuse. They protect against cold and wind chill and are good for rain-resistant outdoor use. Can be machine-washed and dried for quick turnaround/reuse after heavy soiling. Knees and elbows resist premature wear-out. The size options allow for very good fit. We still have 2 pairs bought in 1988 that have probably will last another year, though they were supplemented with new Carhartt coveralls in 2008. The improvements in individualizing the fit are great. The material in the new coveralls is as durable but not so stiff as the old ones. We really like them better than ever, not something one can say with just any new editions of a product. The cost is very reasonable considering the quality and long-lasting nature of the suits. They are easy-on and easy-off--no ten-minute war dances when trying to change clothes. Most soiling washes off surprisingly easily (but not diesel tractor grease). And there are lots of pockets in all the right places.

Very well built and super warm. Iwork in a warehouse setting with no heat and on zero degree nights was warm all night. Only very small problem i see is with the fit ordered a 48 reg and it is a little long for my 5-10 frame but is is still workable. This will last for a long time and would highly reccommend to anyone.

Buy and wear with extreme confidence !!
The weather finally cooperated and we now have winter here in Michigan. I wore these for the first time today in 13 degree weather with a wind chill making it feel like -3 degrees. I was wearing a t-shirt and heavy duty Carhartt sweatshirt for top layer and just jeans for the bottom. I could feel the cold around my shoulders but I never froze. I think if I had wore a poly pro or merino wool type of long underwear top underneath my sweatshirt I would never have noticed the cold.
I was doing farm work, on and off the tractors, cutting down trees with a chainsaw, picking up branches and logs for 8 hours. Ended up breaking a sweat These coveralls are the real deal, they are tough and warm! I think they will last me for many years to come and are well worth the price, which compared to some outdoor high tech clothing is actually quit cheap.
I used the tru fit app from the Carhartt website and it works. I have wide shoulders and I thought that would be an impediment when lifting etc, but it is not. Order your normal size.

The design allows for easy on/off. It can be opened for ventilation when needed, or worn over other clothing if additional warmth is needed. It will last a long time due to good materials and craftsmanship.
Not waterproof. Most pens wont fit in the pen pocket.
Go ahead and buy the hood. You will be glad you did.

Probably my most useful Carhartt item
My coverall is probably my favorite Carhartt clothing item I own (and I own a LOT of them). Snowblowing in wind and snow has never been easier since I bought this coverall 3 years ago. All I wear underneath is a pair of socks and my underwear. Nothing more is needed, this coverall is so warm. I have the Short size and it fits me like a glove. Length in arms and legs is absolutely perfect.

How warm is it in the winter?
A shopper on Oct 9, 2016

I wear a size 44 in x01 so would I wear the same in x06?
A shopper on Dec 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The X01 is cut differently than the X06. For the X06, you would take your chest measurement and use that as a guide for what you would order. In other words, if your chest was a 40, you would order the X06 in a 40. For the X01, you have to upsize. If your chest is a 40, you would order the X01 in a 46. Please note, if your midsection is larger than your chest, you may need to make allowances for that as well. Please feel free to call Customer Service for further help at 1 800 833 3118.

What size coveralls do I get if I take a 34 waist 30 leanth in pants?
A shopper on Sep 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Our sizes are based on chest and waist measurements. We recommend using our Size Chart with your chest and waist measurements for a size suggestion. The Size & Fit guide option is located right above the sizes that are offered when you are looking at an item.
I'm 6'6", can I fit in coveralls?
A shopper on Jun 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Coverall sizing is based primarily on chest size. Please see the size and fit guide on this garment or contact Customer Service for guidance. With regard to length/inseam, the longest inseam this comes in would be 32." We typically say our "tall" inseams fit up to 6'3." It depends on your torso length, but you may find the "tall" size is still a bit short in the legs for you.
