Duck Carpenter Bib Overall/Unlined
I like these overalls very much. I am a union carpenter and have had many pairs of these over the years. However, I do have one complaint. I don't understand why the hammer loop only comes on the left-hand side. This is very inconvenient. Does Carhartt make these with the hammer loop in the right? If not, I think you should.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Joe

A Critical Tool
My Carhartt Carpenter Bib Overalls are the first tool I reach for everyday when I get ready to work. These overalls are "tools", not just clothes, because of how the array and variety of pockets make available to me immediately when needed, without wasted steps or wasted time, the key equipment I'll need to reach for to do the job.
And because of their amazing durability they are an inexpensive tool. I have wearing them for decades and while I've gone through a number of pairs, I have always been amazed at how well they hold up. I've often noticed scars from jobs a decade ago on a pair I've just put on.
I have only one complaint: Carhartt has discontinued the light weight, white cotton duck version that's really a must for summer work. If it would get you to offer these, I'd come beg on my knees for them. Remember, these are crucial tools, and if their too heavy for summer.....

GREAT Work pants!
I have been wearing these pants for decades. I work on elevators & between the pouches, side pockets and bib pockets, I can carry the tools I need to complete nearly every task I come across. I carry a small 3/8" ratchet: 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16" deep sockets &wrenches, allen wrenches, wire stripers, wire crimpers, torpedo level, channel locks, a few drill bits, highlighter, Sharpie, pen, pencils, telescoping magnet, pen flashlight, 11-1 screwdriver, drop key, razor knife, keys and a wallet. I wish that Carhartt would continue making these pants. The only negative I have is the button holes should be reinforced to handle the continual use.

Great , but....
I'm a Union electrician and I love these overalls . My only gripe is that you don't have these in the black option anymore . I loved the black ones and I know many others that did too. please bring them back! SERIOUSLY

Also , I own a black pair and i'm onto my second pair of brown overalls . All overalls are labeled the same exact size but the brown have a much bigger fit to them about the waist and the inseam . Since the black have been discontinued, I feel like they run a lot bigger now.

R28 concern
My dad wore R 28 carpenter bibs since the late 40s, and I have worn them for 38+ years. A few years back I was confused why the hammer loop was removed from the right side. I had to take my new pair to a seamstress to have one sewed on. Not sure but I guess all carpenters are left handed? Now I'm hearing they are to be discontinued. I sure hope more people voice their concerns and change your minds on discontinuing this line. The local Carhartt store said they get requests "all the time" because so many people like the built in nail apron. What I would love to see happen is to add zippers & buttons to the legs to the R 28s and not dicontinue them. I have always worn Carhartt carpenter bibs and been pleased with the quality. Please reconsider.

Still unavailable, are you kidding?
None available for literally months!!! Pulled the lighter weight Black color- really? Are actively trying to loose customers? Make them in the US again so you can control your product! I seriously don't care if the price is higher, make them here!
