When sizing insulated bibs I would recommend going 4 inches larger than your normal waist size to compensate for the quilt lining in the bibs themselves and any other article of clothing you may be wearing underneath them. superior quality in both fabric and construction. I own 2 pairs one for work and the other for recreation in colder weather. Haven't been disappointed yet.
VERY GOOD BIBS. I GOT A 28 LENGTH WHICH IS THE SHORTEST LENTH MADE BUT HE NEEDS A 26 OR 27 - VERY SHORT LEGS, I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO FIND THIS LENGTH IN THE STORES. BUT AT LEAST THEY ARE NOT A FOOT TOO LONG AND i DON'T HAVE TO TRY TO GET THEM HEMMED.
ive owned a couple pairs of bibs and these are by far the best. im 16 and during the winter i plow snow for a company. mostly 20 degrees or lower and these keep me very warm. im operating skid steers ans driving plow trucks throwing salt and the whole time im comfortable and warm. haven't had a single problem with them wear them everyday during the winter and have yet to had a single issue with them. the best you could buy for sure. if your looking for a good pair of bibs for the winter that you can work in get these
Finally some thing made in the USA, thats where I want my money to go, and glad and proud ya 'll are here.Love your clothes, great wear and all the other things I want in a product, ie looks good ,feels good and wears well.
i have owned these bibs for 5 years i work outside all day long and these bibs keep me warm all day long i now own two pairs not because the first pair is worn out i own two pair so when one pair gets really muddy i have a pair to wear the next day. i wear these bib for hunting, fishing, logging, and everything inbetween i will wear these bibs for as long as i can be out side... great bibs
again, awesome product, you need these, but why dont they come with a button at the bottom of each leg opening that keeps you from walking on them? very simple fix, so fix it already! two buttons by bottom of zipper one for each leg-done! besides walking on them from time to time because there are no buttons to stop this, they are great bibs!
We were able to supply eighteen of our twenty workers with a pair of these from shopping at local retailers. The other two pairs were purchased online because the sizes were not in stock on the retailers shelves. In any event, the crew members we purchased these for are very happy that the company gave these to them because, we work in a cold area and we all wanted to have the same look for the customers project we were working on. All went very well and we all like our new Carharts. Now if we can just get the jackets company sponsored........
I highly recommend the bib overalls. They are very durable and provide the right amount of warmth to keep you comfortable while working. Even though I've been wearing mine for 8 yrs they're still in good shape other than some minimal fraying on the legs. I've put these bibs thru the ringer and they work as hard as I do. My hats off to Carhartt for a great product, you may spend a little more, but you get what you pay for.
These overalls are made with exceptional toughness. I have been doing a lot of tree work in them for the past month and they have held up beautifully. Comfortable, warm and RUGGED! What more could you need?!
I am a journeyman electrician, for 23 years now. I am on my second pair of these right now. I still have my first pair, and they are fine. I just cant fit in them anymore! Nothing on the market keeps you warm and offers the mobility that these bibs do. When winter hits in Cleveland, I reach for my old faithful Carhartts.
I bought these bibs during the recent cold freeze because I needed something rugged and warm for work and play.I purchased the mens Duck Bib overalls in a black color(big and Tall).I could not be more satisfied with them. I work all week in them and play all weekend. I stay warm and comfortable no matter the tempature. One of the greatest features is the ruggedness. From thicketts to metal work they always come out just the way I came. I will certainly be purchasing more great carhartt products.
I bought a pair of Carhartt insulated bib/coveralls over 9 yrs. ago when i first moved to Wisconsin and now live in Minnesota. The appearence of the overall is just worked and used with yrs. of more useage. The Quality is outstanding. And comfort is unbelievable to this day. I didn't know it got that cold here in the upper states till my first winter here. At the time i moved here I was walking everywhere i went such as to supermarkets and work. I lived in St. Croix Falls, WI and worked in Minnesota at the time. I bought these insulated bib coveralls at a fleet mill in St Croix Falls, WI. hoping tey would keep me warm between my home and work since i walked everyday Monday thru Friday and some weekends. These bib/coveralls di more then just keep me warm and comforable but kept me alive and not freeze to death each day or night i walked from work to home since it was about 10 miles from work and home. Still today I still have these coverall/bib and use them in my business and for emeremcy times during winter months. Thanks Carhartt for such great makings of a useful outer garment.
I recently purchased a set of bibs for this winter, i work in the pipeline industry so I'm out side all day and the bibs have done great. i have yet to get cold or wet and i would recommend anyone who works out in the cold to purchase a set.
I bought these primarily for ice fishing and snow plowing on the quad, I live in Michigan and it gets pretty cold here in the winter. I love being outside all year around as I'm an avid sportsman, these zip to knee r02 bibs are the ticket in cold weather! I pair them with a Carhartt jacket and hat and I'm ice fishing for hours in toasty warm comfort even in teen to 20 degree temps with the wind blowing. I did however add snaps to the bottom of the leg openings based on other reviews I've read. I love my Carhartt bibs and recommend these to anyone looking to stay warm in the cold!
I work on boats and spend hours in the freezing cold. I have spent hundreds of dollars on other coveralls. Only to have to layer my clothing and making it difficult to function until i purchased my carhartts. they keep me warm in the snow, ice and frigid temps durable and always very professional looking. During the winter they are always near me.
I have a friend who works for the Railroad, Needless to say every employee wears Carhartt Religiously. He bought me the Artic Coat and I have recently replaced all my jeans with Carhartt ones! These bibs kept me warm on a -24 degree day so much so that I had to keep my Artic Jacket open so I didnt sweat to death, These bibs are worth twice what I paid! I am glad there is a company that understands hard work!
I am on my second pair of these. The first ones lasted almost 6 years. The only problem with the last pair is that the legs shrank up. If you purchase, I suggest getting an extra size in length to allow for it. I like these bibs because they are warm without being too hot when inside (I have found the Arctic lining just too warm). Just unzip the legs to stay comfy. I prefer the bibs to layering with thermal bottoms because they keep you clean while working and the extra pockets are always handy.
These things are very WARM! When I wore them to work I was very comfortable. Never felt cold. The only thing they need is a snap at the bottom of the zipper. If you need to stay warm when it is cold they are worth it at 10 times the price.
This purchase is not my first pair of Carhartt bibs, so yes, I am a repeat customer. I've tried others (other brands) but nothing compares to Carhartt. As an outside plant utility lineman, I work in all types of conditions these bibs have always held up no matter what the conditions are. I have both lined and unlined that I wear year round and highly recommend them to anyone who who needs durability, reliability, and quality.
To me, Carhartt is the best clothing brand on the market and I will continue to buy it no matter what the price. The value is worth it. You get what you pay for.
i have own several pairs of bibs and these are great for comfort and wear. easy to put on with the new zippers all the way to your hips. i work outside everyday and they are great for keeping you warm. would recomend them for work or just out doing chores
I've had these overalls for a few years. They kept me warm while replacing my windows and siding last November. They were not only comfortable but durable. I wore them with my hooded jacket from Carhartt.
I bought my stepson these overalls for his birthday present. He loves to ice fish, but everytime he comes back from the lake he is frozen. Once he tried these overalls for the first time, he didnt get off the ice til late at night, he had been there since early morning. I guess they worked, kept him warm and toastie, fishing all day and out of the house......Worked great for both of us!
I bought these bibs last year to go with my Carhartt jacket for snow plowing on the 4-wheeler and they've worked great! Now going on my 2nd year with them snow plowing and starting new job at a Auto shop as a mechanic they come in handy when I need them against the cold Wisconsin weather and since my boss doesnt turn on the heat in the shop it doesnt even bother me one bit! Awesome product!
"if your looking for a product that is tuff as nails and worm with out being bulky or weighing you down these bibs are for you. Iv worn bibs like these since i was a lil guy and i just got a new par of these last september since i out grew my old ones. I were them for all my cold weather activitys. You can work and play in confidence knowing that carhartt wont let you down."
Best purchase ever made. These coveralls are warm in the winter when you have to crawl on garage floor to fix a car or go out and work in the cold winter. They're sturdy and durable for long lasting wear.
Out of all the Bibs my son could have asked for, he wants Carhartt's. Well, that is what I am giving him for Christmas. This is not the first time I have bought him a Carhartt item and won't be the last!!
I sent a pair of the brown overalls to my father and he absolutely loves them! They fit well, look great and keep him warm as he's working in his wood shop. I live in VT, where Carhartt is a way of life. I don't know if he had access to them in MO where he lives, but he sure loves them!
Purchased these to work around the house and move snow around in the winter. Since I've purched we haven't had any snow yet. We did have a couple good enough days that I could ride my Harley to work (35 miles one way). It was 26 f when I left in the morning so I figured I would try them out. All I had on under was blue jeans. I was amazed. My legs did not get cold at all. Being able to ride when its a little colder out than what I usally do will pay for these in no time saving gas riding instead of driving the truck. Thanks Carhartt.
I initially bought these to pair with my Carhartt jacket. In the winter, I do snow removal and am often fighting brutal Minnesota elements. Between the salt and constant movements, grease and grime, few things last longer then a season. 5 years later and these things still look great and feel great. You may have to buy a second set though, if a buddy tries them on, you won't get them back!
After ten years working outside all winter long in underground manholes and up on telephone poles, my bibs finally wore out. Santa brought me a new pair for Christmas.Tough as nails and will keep you warm in temps down below freezing. I started the phone company in Carhartt and some day I will retire wearing my Carhartts.
