I really like these pants. They fit very well. I wouldn't necessarily they are a slimmer fit, but a little more form fitting which I like. They are extremely comfortable and easy to move in. I agree with others that they are not exactly stretch material, but I am able to squat down and move without resistance. Durability wise they aren't bad, but not amazing. I carry a knife in my pocket daily and there is wear from the handle which is about to become a hole. Same thing with one of my side side pockets.
Over all I love these pants. I like the bluish gray color and would love if they were made in a darker brown. I'll be purchasing another pair.
I would not consider these a "stretchy" pant but rather just a lightweight canvass pant with a little give. I wish the fabric was a little heavier like 10oz or so. The seam behind the knee rubs in a bad way. The metal zipper on the back pocket scuffs up my hand so I don't even use it anymore. But the worst part is the color, after only a few washes they faded quick and are almost white, or like a real light pale khaki/white. They fit great I just wish the Yukon color was darker or atleast lasted a little longer. A Green color option would be great too.
These pants are excellent. Comfortable, good fit, great style. The flexibility is awesome allowing full range of motion without them pulling up at the ankle or down around your waist. Will certainly be purchasing again if they ever wear out.
These are the best pants I have owned period. One super annoying problem though...the threading on the inside of the leg is so course that it actually feels like sandpaper sometimes on my leg. I washed them over 50 times and still the same. If Carhartt reads these making them with softer threading on the inside of the leg where it already is sensitive as it is would make these pants a 5 star.
Meh. I really wanted to love these pants. I've been looking for a durable work pant with crotch gussets for a long time and was thrilled when carhartt introduced these. Of course I purchased right away. Fit and everything is great. The material is fairly light duty and unfortunately these pants didn't last 6 months on the job ( I'm an electrician ). If they could incorporate their tougher cotton with a crotch gusset, carhartt would have something special. Hopefully they read this and develop something. As of now, I can't justify the cost if they only last 6 months.
Thank you for taking the time to review this product. The seam is there to create the articulated knee in the front of the pant to enhance ease of movement. We will share your feedback with our Product Design Team for future consideration.

They are alright
Didn't care for the random stitching on the legs of the pants. I ordered a different pair that I am much more happy about.

Great multi-purpose pants
Working as a contractor, with time split between driving, working in the office, and beating brush and blackberries and through rough terrain, these pants fill all functions! The stretch makes for a more comfortable, dynamic fit while there is little excess material to haul around and to provide for a more professional appearance on the fringes of the corporate world. The only slight issues I have are minor - in that the inseam tends to bunch and rub directly on your sensitive inner knee - an odd quirk but something that bothers you if sitting in the same spot for hours on end. The other is that the double front is at most 1.5 times the thickness of the rest of the pants so that could be thicker if it did not sacrifice the flexibility of the pants too much. Those are small things though and these are definitely my new go-to pants!
