I have a drawer full of knit caps, easily 1/2 doz are carhartt. I have been wearing this one for several yrs, no holes, tears or signs of wear other than the navy blue has faded from the sun. It's thinner and cooler than the A18 and much less bulky. I pull my down over my ears right down to the top of my sunglasses for that cholo/biker look. Chicks dig it.

First off my sincere thanks to Carhart for being everything you say you are. My hats shipped really quickly, the value is unbeatable, and my hats are everything they advertise and more. Fits my head perfectly, and unlike alot of beanie style hats this thing is comfortable, and stays tight to my head without being annoying. Thats my number one pet peeve about beanies...theyre either way too loose and sloppy,or theyre way too tight and uncomfortable. These hats hit it out of the park. So glad i bought them!! These will be my go to beanie from here on out...no BS. And the price? Are you kidding me?! Ive paid much more for beanies that ended up being of MUCH less quality and i never wore them after the first time. Will be buying more from Carhart in the future!!! You already had a customer for life, but with this purchase you strengthened my love of you products!! Side note....ive had a Carhart work coat that ive used and abused on the daily at work,(construction) play, and everything in between that i bought when i was 20yrs old, and im now 40yrs old, and its still intact and functional today. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!??????
This is the best hat I've ever owned. I've been a loyal Carhartt customer for almost 15 years, and while other labels change styles and products, Carhartt consistently produces the most durable, affordable and comfortable apparel in the world. These hats, in particular, are a must-have for my friends, coworkers, and me. They last forever, keep your head as warm as you need it to be (and therefore your body as well) and the only time I ever need to replace them is when I lose them. They're super cheap, as well, and make great gifts. They come in a variety of colors so they go with everything, and won't fall apart like so many hats of their kind will. All in all, these are the best hats I've ever owned, and I'll continue to buy new ones every time I lose them.
I will not exit my home without my Carhartt knit hat. We have had the worst winter in decades and this hat keeps me warm! I have livestock to feed and sheep that lamb in all hours of the night, so I live in my knit hat! Excellent quality at an excellent price, I wouldn't wear any other brand!
I own 4 of these hats in different colors, and they are fantastic. Very comfortable and warm. I wear them when I do anything outdoors in the cold. I wear them when bowhunting, mowing, cutting firewood, hiking, walking, you name it....great product.
Nice quality hat that is washable and holds up to many years of use. Great for camping or hiking. On the extremely cold nights of camping out in the desert my son and I wear them when we sleep. Another great hat similar to this but with a visor (#A164) is also a must have.
Great for covering my mellon (head) when the temps drop. Feels soft on the skin, doesn't itch like the other beanies I had. Keeps my head warm. Come to think of it, I don't recall my head getting all sweaty. Overall a very good hat.
Lightweight Shorter Hat Compared to The Original - but still like it!
I have numerous Carhartt stocking hats and the original fit is still my most favorite. However the knit hat is still a great hat, just fits a little shorter and is more lightweight compared to the original. This knit hat is perfect for light work and not too cold of days.
I have worn this hat in weather as cold as -10, and I was very happy with the way that it kept my head warm. My only problem with the hat is that it isn't long enough. I want a hat that will cover my ears... the entire ear. My hat also rises as you wear it, exposing more of the ear to the elements.
